Hoki is the one of the weakest front court players. He just hopes kobayashi to do all the work.

Yuta and Nami would have been better than Yuta and Hoki xD

Poor Hoki. That's what you get when you don't kill the shuttle and show that you are a killer. You get attacked relentlessly.

Not so much outclassed as self-destructed...SYQ let himself down and let the Team down as well. It's worse than i thought, SYQ just can't perform under pressure, esp when he's carrying the burden. Mentally weak, to say the least.

At least I can sense Momota is not thinking too much about winning or losing, just take whatever comes (or maybe even resigned to it) and let it go. That's the right attitude and it worked for him much better than for SYQ's self-delusion, if I may pout it that way.

But SYQ is not like that during the Sudirman cup...
or it's his coach not allowing him to retire?

That's the disadvantage of putting a magician next to an ordinary player. They target the ordinary player the whole time and the lack of shuttle exchange force the magician to make unforced errors.

He was never embarrassed with a potential 21-5 scoreline in the Sudirman Cup.
