    CHN wins 3-0, and so many people (me included) were thinking an upset was possible

    China won it 3-0 easily I didn't expect that.
    Will LSF replace LGZ as MS2?

    You can tell this means more than just a win to LSF. It’s a win over the one opponent that he kept losing to in junior years.

    I'm going to call it right now. LSF will be the world no.1!

    @kurako

    Kanta did it! :O

    If Yuta clinch this then it will be up to Kenta to clutch!

    No doubt the most in-form player on JPN's Thomas Cup squad is Yuta Watanabe. Sucks that he's in MD2 since he doesn't get to play if opponents win the tie 3-0, but good to have so long as one of the first three matches win.

    I agree and this has been the case for quite some time now. Unfortunately, he doesn't have someone up to his level to play alongside him.

    I was so impressed when I watched him play. We have just been talking about this how every new players are just physical beast and explosive beast who worked on their stamina.

    But LSF isn't. LSF has that CYF style and that style suits MS a lot better. CHN is really a powerhouse.

    I was also impressed. If CHN reach the final I hope LSF can play as MS2

    Seriously Yuta is pure magic.

    He didn't have that powerful of a smash before. But he has it now. What did he do? Why can't Momota do the same?

    Hahahaha, what a rally, super defense from Watanabe, then his trademark dropshot later to gain advantage to kill the shuttle

    Watanabe is just brutal. Almost impossible to score against him. You have to target his partners. GOAT material in MX and MD. Hope they find a good doubles partner for him. And as much as I like Higashino, she`s not good enough. Yuta could have gone for Gold in Tokyo, if he had one of the Huangs by his side. I would like to see him with Misaki Matsutomo. She can defend herself against male smashes and tries to improve in the attack.
