I suspected that Chen Long also lost his first set to Lee Zii Jia on purpose at the Olympics but I wasn't sure. But seeing that Shi Yuqi is pulling a similar strategy now,I think he probably did. Sent from my SM-A307GN using Tapatalk
Don't think so. LZJ was playing at an impressive pace during the first game and did well to keep CL away from the net by holding the racket quite long and then flicking it to the back. CL couldn't read this during the 1st game so he got into the defense quite often. LZJ had worse shot quality in set 2 and 3, also he was not quite as fast as during set 1
SYQ's facial expression looks so unwell though, wonder if he's overpushing himself Sent from my XQ-BC52 using Tapatalk
If momota had a more natural attacking play i think he’d be able to find his groove faster in his comeback. It’s hard to establish confidence and rhythm when you’re just inviting everyone to play all out offense against you.
Yea,I think that's likely too,Lee Zii Jia is really fit so I know it's possible for him to really win that many points. But still,Chen Long came back very fast in the second and third set so I guess that's where I had a little bit of doubt. I guess it's one of those things which will never be known. Yeah SYQ @4.6. Oh geez this match doesnt show good lights on both players. Too much weakness on show. Ebbs and Flows. Tankage in G2, how good is that for Badminton you reckon?
