I must be blind before, but I was unwrapping a Tpro today and gonna electrictape + overgrip it and found these two large pieces of gray hard tape around the wooden handle.

Anyone know what these are for beside adding more weight? :O

    Racket specs were: 86.8g BP303

That's lead tape to balance out the racket. Without it, the racket is probably ~85.5g, BP310.

Does the manufacturer put it on the handle to make the racket within spec as Panda orders ?

So just to follow up, got a chance to weigh the lead tape and surprising it was 5.6g!

Quite a bit more then I expected, after removal my racket became a 4U, BP315 and boy its still a beast, just faster now with the weight savings and the synergy of the shaft even with head weight feeling is still great, something that shines with the Trinity lineup even after all these years. I think this would satisfy me my hunt for a fast doubles racket as my precision is just too flexy feeling until the DJS comes.

I still enjoy my Panda Power Precision very much. It is awesome in doubles.
Are newer Panda rackets an improvement over the Precision?

Hi all! Just found this thread today, and these rackets all sound very intriguing. Is there a way to purchase Panda Power rackets at the moment, specifically the DSJ? In addition, will new rackets be coming out soon for Panda Power?

    Hi All,
Just got back into the badminton scene again after many years of hiatus .

Just wondering if there is any other way of purchasing panda power racquets?

I had a couple of them before however misplaced during some house moves..

Iirc Yonex started marketing them in their Arcsaber series back in 2007

It looks like he hasn't posted in over a year and the Panda Power website is gone.
