A little rusty. Balls ends missing. Found some red ones to replace but will maybe switch and put on my ES5 Pro. Put black ones on these =) Sent from my LG-US998 using Tapatalk
¥8500 shipping! Over here cannot even ship a freaking box for that price. not to say a stringing machine that weighs a ton.
New project. Mazda Soul Red and dont know name of gold but didn't realize I was going for Iron Man look. Came out pretty cool. Of course I did all ghetto spray cans so not 100% good =) Sent from my LG-US998 using Tapatalk
Man, if Bret the Hitman Hart were ever to consider a stringing machine... he'd reject this for being too 80's.
@kwun I got a custom sticker in gold to go with my Iron Man machine. My base was a custom color from Toyozouki before they were bought out by Yonex. I asked for black or white and for them to suprise me with a color, and they told me this was a prototype color, only 1 made so I was lucky enough to get it. I got the tilt from a machine I bought and sold, and I put a vinyl wrapon the inner part of the shaft of the stand. I found little Japanese emergency exit green stickers. We all know you've since moved on... and so has this old machine, first it came to Düsseldorf, but now it found a new home in a new country. I'll probably have to adjust the height a bit, but I think it's a good place to start to have a machine I can just roll away with everything I need for stringing in one place.
Had a bit of a shuffle around in my office, these IKEA baskets are amazing ! Am considering an upgrade to a stand now I have the extra storage. I'm stood on a treadmill mat which is nicely cushioned. Another good tip I found on here. Next up I need to find the label maker to redo the string labels (festival wristbands which will be used for labeling racket tensions as well). (I gave myself a slap and a telling off for leaving a partially strung racket for those 15 seconds to get that picture). Sent from my SM-A315G using Tapatalk
Superstringer T20 with Chudek side supports and a different Gripper, if I remember correctly. Also known as @s_mair's old machine.
Does anybody have experience with a penta premium stringer 9200? There is one coming for sale in my neighbourhood but i'm not familiar with this machine. I'm using a stringway setup for 6 years (dropweight). I learned alot using this machine. But it's time for an upgrade and 6 point racket support. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-T505 met Tapatalk
Which Stringway machine do you have? Just as a side note - the mounting setup of the Stringway is not a classic 2-point. Some say that it is even safer for the frames than a standard 6-point system. I don't know the PS 9200 myself, but in general, those round gripper motors don't have a big fan base. Not sure if you can upgrade your Stringway with a WISE, but maybe that might be another interesting upgrade option to consider.
Thx for the reply. I'm using a stringway ml-100 badminton with flying clamps. I bought it 6 years ago and it's a joy learning to string on this. Problem now, cause apparantly my name is getting known in the city. Our nearest professional stringer is at least a 30min drive and traffic is hell in this part of town. So people tend to ask me for a stringing service. Which includes some higher tier players. But they ask a bit more tension then the little league playersl and here starts my trouble. As S.mait metioned it's an unconventional 2 point system. It works like a charm up to 24lbs. But when pulling higher, the 2 point system can't hold the racket in place. When I'm at the top cross strings the rackets starts to slip in it's mounts when pulling the string. And this is a big concern for me. I can 't put anymore downforce on the frame but still it starts to move alot when pulling. So this is my issue. A wise is not needed even not possible on this machine. But I appreciate the idea. If you have any more toughts or ideas. Pls share. Grts RealD1g1ts Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-T505 met Tapatalk
