Game was indeed taxing on both ,wonder how TTY shall perform against PVS who won in straight sets. Had AY taken it to 3rd,it may have been a different story based on stamina. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
I think RI has never been this fit since 2013 when she won the WC. So close to the semi and possibly an Olympic medal in her 3 outings.
WHY WOULD DADDIES PLAY WHEN IM ABOUT TO GO IN A MEETING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought CHN/MY match was first Enjoy guys
Yup, I feel for Intanon, those easy mistakes at the crucial stage of the decider were unfortunate but that's part of the tension of a high-stake match - a question of who's got the nerves, the mental strength. Evenly matched, originally I gave a slight edge to IR as TTY seemed not too consistent but she held to the very end. It could've gone either way, they are just too familiar with each other's game having played something like 30 matches, including this one.
TTY has never progressed to the last 4 in WC. She might feel more relax now. Sindhu is looking to go one better than in Rio.
It's too heart breaking.. I want both of them to win.. Too bad they had to meet in QF.. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
This is the best I have seen RI play in years to be honest. Small dip in concencration at the end cost her dearly, but she can be proud of her performance. This was worthy of an olympics gold medal match !
Sad for Ratchanok. She has now lost all her Olympic quarter finals from winning positions. Hope she does better in the world championships
As much as LeeWang is so good, how can you try do delay the games by asking the ref to wipe your hands after 3 points.
Not going to matter much. PVS vs AY lasted for 56 mins. TTY vs IR Lasted for 67 minutes. Plus Sindhu has played one more match than Tai coming into the semifinals if I am not wrong. If someone has a disadvantage here, it's probably Sindhu.
