If I am the umpire, I will award victory to the loudest pair.

Wow LZJ fell and he still got the point. Cut himself during the process. Misjudgment by Chen Long.

Before Olympics had begun I was honestly expecting :-

MS sure Gold or a Silver or Bronze

    WD Sure Gold or Silver

MD probable Gold or Silver or Bronze

XD probable Gold or Silver or Bronze

Now, WS is only one I am pinning my hopes on.

Disheartened by the way all the Jap teams played except Fukushima ,Hirota and Yuta.

    Lets hope for XD Bronze.

One trick pony with pretty bad basic game. Meh.

Winner of a weak year AE. That's it.

Looks like Chen Long has been practicing some technique! He has a more shots at the net now, let's see if that's enough

Hmm, Chen Long looking a lot slower than his 2016 Rio Olympic form. He has always relied on his defense, reach, and movement to win in the past. But he's a little older now, so he is a little slower, and his movement isn't as fast as before.

LZJ is like CL in his prime, whose composure and defend, can make you lose heart.

    21-8 to Lee, very surprising..

Let's hope Chen Long comes back in the 2nd and 3rd.

That's also a bit my problem with all sports except maybe F1. Fitness is taking over tactics and experience.

CL here might be more experienced etc but the fitness of LZJ is overcoming CL.
