Maybe you're right, but it's not like kevin has step up big time when the shine are bright, he just doesn't have that "thing" in big event like this

Imo Kevin feels he’s to go for a lot to protect Gideon, that’s why he makes more mistakes. I feel that with Watanabe in XD too. Can’t prove it now though, maybe when Kevin gets another partner.

Li/Liu will have to overcome the extremely motivated Malaysians first though.

Everyone will have their own blessing and moments. For Minions, they already win many titles and AsianGames (which is the feelings of winning at home) which many of JPN players might not experience.

It would be an upset if Li/Liu don't make the final. They're the favorites on the top half now.

I hope herry ip split them after this olympics, there is no reason for them to keep playing together after this, indonesian MD always have the tradition to step up their game in big event like this and minions has failed to do that time and time again, not even a medal at the WC/olympics since the beginning of their partnership.

Ya, Minions exit will be terrific for the Twin Towers.

Chances of China getting 5 golds in Tokyo is looking more and more likely.

    So far so good today.
XD - 1 pair won, and likely ZSW/HYQ too.
HBJ through when down 1 game because of ZBW's injury.

Last year I didn't think China could get 5 gold medals, but until now, I feel that.

If China can get 5 gold medals, I will bow my knee to Zhang Jun

Yes but their ongoing and consistent wins on other tourneys will outweigh the big tourney imo. They won't be split.
