    Looking at XD draw, an uphill task for Jordan/Oktavianti to pass the on-fire Chinese top-seed Zheng/Huang considering their uninspiring performance during preliminary rounds, highly doubted the Indonesians could rectify their below-par form in two days. Two unseeded pairs facing off in second quarters, Ellis/Smith v Tang/Tse, an equal chance for both pairs. Another interesting clash will pit Puavaranukroh/Taerattanachai against Watanabe/Higashino, the Japanese have slight advantage to overcome Thai duo. China number two pairs also seem on track to eye semifinal spot.

    Good. Btw, If BAM player is 1 rank lower than non BAM players, who will BAM send? Scenario changed coz players are going pro since 2017 after og16.

    Will it be like England BA sending younger players?

    Ahsan/Setiawan (INA) v Choi SG/Seo SJ (KOR)... Daddies need to win this to win the group to avoid fellow INA in the semi.

    True. But I think Watanabe - Higashino will prevail in their part of the bracket.

    I think ahsan/setiawan only need to take 1 game, and they gonna top the group.
    if they lose in rubber while the malaysian win in straight, the win-lose game will be
    INA = 5 - 2
    Korea = 4 - 3
    Malaysia = 4 - 2

    Also before the match of the groups end, anything can happen like injuries, covid, etc. Cant say what happened to LiXueRui/ Marin cant happen again. If they fail to finish the match, they are out of the group.
