I have tried to find good shuttles. It is also nice to test shuttles because Im huge fun of badminton. There is rumours about shuttles: Forza Vip, not anymore goose RSL Classic tourney, not always goose?? Youhe S100 goose and natural cork Victor Master shuttles goose and corks are different between models Ace to no. 6. Yehlex premiership grade goose Actually in webshops they dont tell which feather they are and what kind of cork. Only mentioned premium shuttlecock etc.
Let me ask you this instead. Can you tell the difference between a duck feather and a goose feather when you are playing badminton with the shuttle? Sent from my SM-N9750 using Tapatalk
Hello! In my area (East China) most club players use duck feather shuttles with laminated corks. The most popular choice is the RSL NO. 4 Tourney. If you like testing different shuttles you can give them a try, just be sure to give them a little steam before you play. If you find that the performance and durability are acceptable you could end up saving a lot money.
Both the forza VIP and RSL classic tourney are BWF certified for international play, theyre both supposed to be goose feather shuttles. Where did you hear the rumours about them being made from duck feathers?
I once went up to China to play a small tournament. It’s quite a few years ago now. RSL no.4 is like, well, I never used them before. It was a bit of shock to me that in China, they would pick this shuttle. Seriously, this shuttle was pretty good! I was really surprised because it was like at least on par with the no.1 we used in HK.
Very cool! They really are quite good for the price as long as your group has decent fundamentals. If I see someone hacking feathers I'll switch to the Aerosensa 9, but other than that the Tourney 4 seems to be the consensus choice for the <100 CNY price range. (Which is by far the biggest market here, three digit prices just feel a lot more expensive, even if it's only a few yuan more)
In DK webshop reads **** Rsl classic tourney. Rumours started when they changed introduction to "first grade feather" not using "first grade goose feather". Btw Champion 1 is duck and BWF approved.
