    Hello.

Where do you all buy grommets? Are there any good universal pack that fits lot of different models. or do I have to purchase kits for each racketmodel?

For most rackets (that do not require grommet strips or very old rackets with big grommet sizes) I am very happy with the generic Li Ning Grommet box. They are always too long, so always cut to length, and they are strong. The box contains two sizes that should fit most if not all modern rackets.
The other thing you sometimes need is the U grommets for next to the shaft. There are two sizes: long (for next to the shaft) and short (for the next one over). I got a big pack of both from MBS or something. Don't buy a pack of 10, those are just cut up bigger bags with lots of added cost on top.

Sometimes I use the small T grommets I got from Dennis (JJ0907) here on the forum for the top or side grommets for high tensions on my own rackets.

Grommet strips suck when they need replacing, but I only replace them for a friend/customer when I think it's appropriate and we order a replacement together. Big grommets suck too, like older Carlton rackets. I don't have special grommets for those, just use the biggest one I have and flare them.

Another help is a grommet removal tool. I use a screw-type thing with a wood handle, the one in this video from s_mair (t=14:20):

Good resource to get you started with some nice grommet tips.

    Good luck!

I don't know if it's the same ones as E78, but you can buy them cheaper on Aliexpress (I bought mine 6.5 euros...) and I don't think they are fake. They are pretty decent, but I find them not very durable.

6.5 Euros for a box of different kinds? Or individual units?
And not very durable meaning they split very often?

Exactly the same Powerti box. For example: https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005...earchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_ By not very durable I mean not as durable as the original ones (as far as my Wilson racket is concerned). They don't split particularly, but it seems that the head is softer. But perhaps it's just an impression... I have to test the Lining ones!

I have both and I personally didn't find them similar. I had used the powerti grommets for years and I got frustrated changing them often. I found them to be brittle, break easily and prone to splitting especially 12 o'clock grommets and shared grommets. I now use the grommets from e78 and the difference is night and day. Just the feel of them is very different, powerti's felt thin, hard and cheap while the e78 grommets felt the complete opposite. e78 grommets are a bit more expensive but well worth the price. The grommet heads are also thicker which will help with frames prone to sinking grommets. The only downside is the shared grommets holes are slightly smaller since it is thicker.

Which ones do you use? Those from the box BOXP01? The ones in Nylon 12 sold in a small jar?

The Li Ning Set grommets I find are the best quality ones.

Hi, does anyone know where to get good quality grommet in UK like the one from e78?

Shipping to UK is to expensive if I try to get from e78.

I bought some tubs of 1500 or so off ebay. Quality seems better than the last lot from MBS and massively cheaper.

I would like to use Li ning as they seem to hold up way longer. But if they're 4x the price but only last twice as long it's not worth it.
