Anthony Ginting reveals five most impressive matches in his badminton career (in Bahasa Indonesia) : https://www.jawapos.com/sports/16/0...-mengesankan-bagi-anthony-ginting-sejauh-ini/

    01) 2017 KOR Open Superseries Final (vs Jonatan Christie)
First ever final in BWF top-tier event also all INA affairs that rarely to see in recent era particularly in men's singles discipline.

    02) 2018 ASIAN GAMES Men's Team Final (vs Shi Yuqi)
An epic battle that had dramatic ending, he's injured at that time and failed to contribute opening victory for INA team at home soil.

    03) 2018 CHINA Open S1000 Final (vs Kento Momota)
Ginting produced fantastic feat to beat four prominent names in a row (Lin Dan, Viktor Axelsen, Chen Long, Chou Tien Chen) before overcame more fancied rival MS King, Momota in finale.

    04) 2019 BWF WORLD Tour Finals (vs Kento Momota)
He had great lead in deciding game, 11-5 but Momota showed his mojo, came back from behind and brought the Indonesian into misery, focus and endurance plus mental strength are key factors for the Japanese to top Guangzhou extravaganza podium.

    05) 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games Semifinal (vs Lin Guipu)
Feeling Olympic atmosphere for the first time even tough this is only youth level. He won bronze medal at that time (lost to Lin GP) and the only INA representative in men's singles category.

Ginting reached final in MOLA TV PBSI Home Tournament after defeating Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo 21-12 21-13.
He will face Rustavito later in the final. Christie withdrew from the semifinal due to cramp he suffered yesterday in the quarterfinal.

So far there have been 3-4 withdrawal in the MS due to cramps and injuries. Seems like a tournament after 4 months break and much less intense training really take a toll on the athletes physical condition, especially INA players. Ginting himself had a nosebleed just now in the semifinal.

    I was just looking..

So Axelsen has 7 SS titles, CTC has 5, Ginting has 4. And Axelsen and CTC is almost 3 & 7 years older than Ginting respectively. Of course, VA won the WC.

And he's in the semi final. Pretty much a lock for at least a bronze medal. I think he'll compete for a Gold. What a player.
