Right, the entire CHN national team is undergoing closed-door training together at Chengdu, Sichuan province. For the national men's singles squad, both Lin Guipu and Li Shifeng from the B-team have been selected to join the A-team there.

If I'm not wrong, included are also the following players as they were mentioned in passing by Cheng Yu in the article, viz., Sun Feixiang, Lei Lanxi, Liu Haichao, Wen Hongyang, noting that each of them has a Super 300 title to their name. As we know, Cheng Yu is known to have attached much importance in nurturing the under-19 junior players , so it's not surprising he would pick a few potential young talents in the B-team to join the A-team at training.

Don't know whether CBA has dropped another names who might be considered as less potential players : Zhou ZQ, Ren PB.

Mmm, not surprising, esp the 22-year-old Zhou Zeqi, off the radar, though I feel Ren Pengbo maybe not too bad but, at age 23, not young anymore and nothing to show for or worth mentioning, particularly by CBA standards.

From the article , it's obvious Cheng Yu is focusing more on the younger cohort in the B-Team, targeting junior players he deems to show some potential.
