Just another boring day & it catch my mind.

We have so many frame shape nowadays. From aero, box, semi aero box, oval, etc.
The same logic as an airplane need to achieve some speed to make its wing catch the wind & lift its body.
Isnt it the same for racket to, for one to be able to get benefit & feel the air cutting effect, one need to be able to swing in certain speed?
So beginer with low swing speed wont notice or had any effect if they use aero or box frame racket.

Let's look at that in a different way.

Aerodynamics make a much bigger difference the bigger the swing speed is. It's not about acceleration, but speed.

The highest swing speed is used for a smash.

"Power rackets" for a hard smash often have a more boxy frame shape.

"Speed rackets" for quick reactions, but strokes with rather show overall swing speed are advertised with thinner and more aerodynamic frames.

Everybody can now choose what to believe and when the marketing-bullcrap-meter should go up.
