Same in Germany . Until now you could download the videos from all tournaments. Now something changed and download isn't possible anymore. Anybody the same problem ?
the playing conditions are the responsibility of 2 parties: the host/organizer & bwf (referee & onsite tournament managers). however, once a tournament starts it means nothing if neither party can do anything about it. this is the likely scenario: players complain to the bwf referee ('hey, it's too cold in here') referee mentions it to the host/organizer & bwf onsite tournament managers ('can we fix the temp?') bwf tournament managers ask the host/organizer if the venue temperature can be corrected to fit within the suggested temperature range in the bwf regulations ('can you fix the temp?') if the answer is 'we are trying to correct it' or a flat out 'no', well, nothing changes and play continues. bwf regulations are almost never complied with 100% due to the uncontrollable variances, circumstances and competence of host/organizers around the world. bwf will never cancel a tournament outright unless ordered to do so by a gov't entity, or the host/organizer cancels it. bwf's financial contribution is insignificant so they have next to zero say in the matter. how can they suddenly tell a host/organizer to cancel an event they paid a lot of money to present? how would they answer to the athletes who are trying to make a living? try telling the players, after they've spent their whole life trying to get here, you're cancelling a tournament because a few people might be contagious, or it's colder than what you're used to. bwf's implied stance is 'if you don't feel it's safe to play, don't play. the choice is yours...' and 'if it gets canceled talk to the local gov't or host/organizer. we're not the ones canceling it. it's not our decision.' so despite whatever you think should or should not be done for whatever issues that pop up, that's the reality we're dealing with.
Lol, same in India. We had our official broadcaster streaming it both online and in tv. And BWF also streaming in YouTube. Never happened before.
