This looks like the definition of a soft, mushy string

11/10 for "shock absorption"... were I still playing I would seek out and destroy every last reel and packet of this wet spaghetti.

If any company's going to release new stuffs, rackets, strings or whatever, they better be better than the previous ones, else, what's the point? This string looks like just another experimental garbage

Very weary of Yonex experiments.. Like the CBG nonsense. They have rose above themselves in terms of marketing by having ratings off their scale.. Seriously 11/10? Or 11/20?

Aimed at beginners and intermediate players.
It says even if u swing at - 3km/h u will hit as far as a player who hits with older string.

Describe what is "excellent"? Ie. repulsion, control, smashing, slicing etc

Which strings and tension are you using currently as a comparison? And what tension did you play the Skyarc at?

    Thanks

OK so if i use those string i will hit further like a pro using old string... Pretty interesting, becoming like a pro in 1 night. But doesnt mean any good to me as when pro use this string to, their hitting will circle the earth once. So, again the gap still there. Using those kind of words.... I wonder who fall for it...

So it outperforms all these strings or does it excel in which areas specifically? Like how is the repulsion/feeling/texture? Thanks

I use bg 80 at 28Ibs so I'd be interested to know where it performs compared to bg 80?

A friend tried it and I got to play a bit with his racket. It did seem to help long clears a bit (so the repulsion was good) but had a soft and mushy feel that neither of us liked. So especially if you're used to the hard feel of bg80 I'd not bother with skyarc.

I concur. The feel is soft and mushy. Tried it this evening at my club, didn't get on with it all, no life in it, couldn't detect any benefits. Swapped back to Li Ning No.1 Boost half way through first game.

Had it strung at 26x27. String when pulled just elongates like an elastic band. Perhaps it works better at lower tensions.
