LOL the Danes with the last challenge. Even they didn't believe in the challenge themselves.

If Fajri vs Minions , bank on Fajri,
If Minions vs Daddies , oh well...

Daddies vs Fajri ... both have tight wins today.. its up for grab F spot.

I think fajar/rian will be the favorite tomorrow, I doubt rian will be nervous like in the WC. can't wait for the battle between hendra and fajar.

Yeah minions vs daddies would be boring, too easy for minions...we need fajri in the final so they can push minions to the limit.

It's either fajri or daddies, then minions.

Did BWF just decide to nuke their Youtube of these matches? Only some of the highlights seem to be there.

It s not the non-living shell that makes a tournament. It s the living passionate fans that makes Istora exceptional.

Anthony Ginting keeps INA chance alive in men's singles discipline, avenges his defeat over Huang Yuxiang in convincing style, 21-11 / 21-14, didn't give any chance for his opponent till the end. A repeat defeat for Jonatan Christie in same event and same opponent, Anders Antonsen, the local darling had promising start at the beginning of first game then collapsed to Antonsen solid defense and tactical play. The Dane couldn't control the drift well in second game, 10-21 then back to his pattern, dictating the pace in deciding game and silenced the home crowd, 21-12. Viktor Axelsen was troubled by Chinese second stringer Zhao Junpeng before found the answer in next two games, a big match at stake between former World Champion versus home hopeful this evening. Meanwhile Anders Antonsen will take on the explosive Lee Cheuk Yiu who knocks out Shi Yuqi with two straight-sets. Nervous shots, many easy mistakes, quite slow movement, the lethargic gesture, Shi needs longer time to regain his best and compete with elite players.

Carolina Marin roars to demolish Korean teen star An Se Young, this fast hall is suited with offensive and pro active player and comfortable, the Spaniard is on right track to complete her unfinished business last year. The battle of lefthander will look forward Marin against He Bingjiao, the Chinese number two maintains consistent performance to cruise into semifinal in two consecutive weeks. Other semifinalists, Ratchanok Intanon outplays Canadian Michelle Li and will see China young sensation Wang Zhiyi, revenge in the air for Thai ace to redeem her failure in Kuala Lumpur.

It's an uphill task for Aaron Chia/Soh WY to spoil men's doubles juggernaut Indonesia party, the Malaysian pair will take on the Minions, limping head to head stats between these two pairs, 0-4 for the world number one advantage.. The showdown of different generation, Daddies and Alfian/Ardianto will seek final spot. European pairs score inspiring result here in women's and mixed doubles department to deliver something peculiar landscape here, Danish representatives Fruergaard/Thygesen secure first ever Super 500 event semifinal among Japan, Korea domination. They have the Olympic and defending champion Matsutomo/Takahashi to overcome. Another stunning feat also created by French combination, US Open champions Gicquel/Delrue who continue fascinating run, beating home favorites Jordan/Oktavianti and will challenge world number two Wang/Huang. The Chinese had hard times to dispose The Adcocks yesterday.

Can someone tell me if Wang Zhiyi is related to Chen YF in any way apart from being a teammate? (For example, being a clone?)

They're too much alike -- footwork, racket movement (how they hold their non-racket arm up at a 90 degree angle), play style, looks, and even the way they celebrate.
