Can somebody tell me which is best of the Astrox99 LCW, the Wilson Pro Staff RF97 Autograph and Toyota Prius. I play ten times a day with friends and really like smashing when my shoulder is not sore.
You don't want to know where he keeps his tube of shuttles! Source: https://metro.co.uk/2019/10/03/faces-pierced-badminton-rackets-vegetarian-festival-10854977/
Khelmart is one of the most reliable sources and Mr. Backhand is THE coach if you would compete international at top-level.
My strings normally break due to fraying at the sweet spot, because the strings move. A stencil doesn't really help much, so I thought about using glue to prevent the strings from moving, but I don't know which one to use. Why recommendations? It should be a little bit flexible and it shouldn't dissolve part of the strings, so I'd appreciate any input if somebody has experience with that. The discussion about using tape to make a racket stiffer also made me worried that the string bed will feel stiffer with the glue. Should I switch to a softer feeling string? I don't want to lower the tension, because I don't want to lose control.
Hi guys, I’m kinda confused between 66um/AS, BG80/85 & BG65/65ti as hybrid for my first attempt. What'd y’all think will be best?
dip the string into Plasti Dip. fool proof. Heck, dip the strung racket head into Plasti Dip. No more paint chip! On a more serious note, once I received a racket from a stringing client. He painted his whole frame with some brown protection paint. Said paint started flaking off and pieces of it ended up all over my machine. I had to vacuum those crap out.
Offtopic: I had a client who put regular some oil on the stringsbed to prevent the string from fraying. He really thought it reduce the friction and increase the durabilty. As I got the racket for restring the whole normally matte racket was shining. During stringing I need to wash my hand several times to could weave the strings. The oil was in the grommets and get on the strings as well. After stringing his racket I needed to clean my machine several times with alcohol. I told him he should stop that ****. Otherwise he should look for a different stringer. He bought a machine and never came back. Real talk.
That's a great suggestion, but again I wonder how much weight that will add. You know, lighter is always better.... I also fear it will make the shaft stiffer.
No problem. According to rumours of a friend who has a friend whose cousin deliver sushi in Japan on his motobike he saw inside a Yonex meeting, that Yonex develop a special kind of gas which get filled into the shaft. This gas change the position of a steel bar inside the shaft depending where the racket head is to change the characteristics and flexpoint of the shaft.
Wear long sleeve shirt to make the racket head light. or for the ultimate head light experience, wear a heavy winter jacket! (and I am not talking about fainting due to overheat type of head light!)
