Well you did it entirely the wrong way.

That's where you got him wrong. If he is not "arrogant" or "insulting" as you said, he would never have showed his true ability or potential. If you want to beat him and proved a better player than him, beat him in that mode. Provoke him otherwise he will be "asleep" all the time.
You don't like him sleeping but you hate his display. You can't have both. Either love everything of him or just don't complain. He never gets slapped when he is in that "arrogant" mode. He enjoys every bits moment of it, he wouldn't even mind if he lose because he had his best moments on court.

Well I love his character and his display. I guess we just Amen to that.

If your best play has to come as the result of arrogance/insult shown to other's then i am sorry better not to have that kind of quality. That arrogance is the reason why he is not even able to have eye contact Gideon when they were thrashed against Endo/Yuta. Because the Ego hits him so hard. When you can channelize your emotions much much better.

Channelized arrogance is much better. No one expects him to be Saint Like Setiawan, but there are various much better ways of showing arrogance Of course i am sure there are many who do not like the provoking antics which he does on court.

Again i never said i dont like him sleeping. Again you get me wrong. What does it matter if he sleeps or dances. I said he cant win by sleeping against Endo/Yuta, because that means he is lured into the trap of the Japanese.

Yeah yeah.. Amen to that too. Just listen to Gill bed story and you 'll sleep better too.
I prefer my Kevin doing his own way, not your preferred way. If that won't get him far, then it's his choice. So yeah whatever you say.

I wonder who Kevin has insulted as of late. He has become much more muted this year. Even matches against Li/Liu has become more civilized.

Well Li has toned down his screaming too unfortunately.. lol
Kam/Son probably with that tricky shot in the end of the match. Anything entertaining Kevin does is always an insult or arrogance. Hard to pick.

Oh actually in the last rally of the first match against Li/Liu, Kevin and Liu exchanged some "Oi" " Oi" "Oi" when they intercepted with flat exchanges. Kevin did it when he played Li, Liu did it when he played Marcus. Seemed both had fun.

    The first paragraph is true.

2nd paragraph not really cares. Its just like saying Momota wont survive in LCW/LD era or ZhengHuang compared to the big 4 eras. In fact, the top pair in MD lost to a lot of pairs outside top 8

Yeah, if any , its others that insulted Kevin. What happened yesterday has nothing to do with how he airshots, etc.

Its more of winning become tougher.

Hard to keep consistency if you have to play so many tournaments a year. Too many 3 or 4 consecutive weeks tournaments for many times a year nowadays.

Just curious, you keep saying kevin is "only" one the best front court player in the world right now, who do you think the best in the present era ? commentators like steen and gill always rate him as the best, so I just wonder. I think hendra was better in his younger days, and still amazing today, but I don't think he's better than kevin now.
