CHN had won many WJCs before and look how they turned up in seniors. We'll see soon after a year or so.

True that, even GMT was dubbed the next Susi Susanti after she won WJC. It's been two years since she turned senior and still struggling.

But INA have a very good MD coaches, one of the best in business. I'm pretty sure they can do something good with this pair.

So disappointing... every single MS, WS, WD and XD in pelatnas except Jordan/Melati are all out in Dens Open.

Finally, PraMel beat Zheng/Huang for the first time. They nearly did it in AE. This time, they really did it. Guess giving ultimatum for them to reach target works. They must have realized what they can really do if they eliminate any non technical issues that they still have.

Btw, this is the second time Zheng/Huang lost before reaching SF. Both times are done by INA XD pairs.

This has to be one of the stranger, but in a good way, stories in sports. Here is a guy who people have been accusing of underachieving and not caring enough, suddenly beat world #1, who has been invincible, and world #2, who has beaten him many times in a row, in dramatic fashions. Can these all be explained by the public scolding by the coach?

People will probably forget about this in a few years. But I’m truly amazed by what Praveen did in this tournament.

Just watch RichardMainaky interview. He said his charges lack nothing, who can beat his players power and everything ( probably refering to Praveen) and after seeing this weeks tournament, that can only be truth.

What lacking is the responsibility being a top athlete.. and Praveen beat WR1 & WR2 both in Deuce situations. Maybe its meant to be ,

praveen and ginting are 2 of the most volatile players i've seen at this level.

ginting will have flashes of explosiveness and finesse, but then his error machine will turn on as if it's set on a start timer and he can't find the plug to yank out of the wall.

praveen is the most entertaining for me. i'll either ooo and ahhh from his sheer power smashes & drives or rotflmao from his careless errors. ya never know what you're going to get when you see him draw back his racket.

The list of INA players who qualify to WTF has completed. There will be 7 reps, one more than the last year's WTF. Minions, Daddies, ASG, Polii/Rahayu, Hafiz/Gloria are the ones who both participated in last year's WTF and qualified for this year's WTF. INA MS has 2 reps, just like last year. While TS qualified for last year, this year, it's JC who is qualified. INA XD will also send 2 reps this year, with the addition of Praveen/Melati.

Time to dress pretty, cool and elegantly at the gala dinner. Warning for the girls! Don't get blinded by JC's handsomeness at the gala dinner. :D :p

They are holding NationalChampionship. There is a player that got into Final in 2 disc. Think he's not bad. More powerful than LeoDaniel.

    personal opinion:
    • Tegar Sulistio is very strong, has good techniques too
    • Nandini Putri Arumni won't be eligible for WJC next year? better call Siti Sarah Azzahra to pelatnas too
    • Christian Adinata, liked his attacking play the first time I watch him play
    • Della Destiara Haris/Rizki Amelia Pradipta, uh oh will they keep this pair in pelatnas next year?

Who say INA lose their stranglehold in MD category? From 1970's, 80's, 90's, millenium era, sustainable regeneration.

BWF Best Dressed Male Award leading contender? I notice all the winners from previous editions were coming from singles category : Chou Tien Chen (2015), Viktor Axelsen (2016), Kidambi Srikanth (2017), Shi Yuqi (2018).

Too bad Indonesian male players usually dress reservedly for this event, only wear normal batik shirt, nothing stylish nor grand.
