A big scare given to Spanish bull Carolina Marin by the child prodigy An Se Young. She's definitely found another fan in me. I'm sure she is amassing a good number of fans day by day. She is a brave girl and very determined in her shot selection. A very good prospect for Korea in future touchwood. I hope she's fine after that medical timeout.
This time next year, or rather, in the run-up to the Tokyo Olympics, we just might see An Se Young making wave after wave.

She actually has a good attack but somehow she chose not to, perhaps, her coaches advised her a different strategy against Marin. And being inexperienced, she could be overdoing it, too passive, trying to keep Marin guessing and moving and only attacking when the opportunities are clear, not taking risks.
I wonder though how can marin maintain her energy playing with that style, she still moving so fast at the end of the third game...

I think attack got or is weak because she still hasn't got that fitness or strength required to have a deadly smash. Attack will improve with age because she'll start having the desired strength levels.

to tell you the truth....Marin stamina would decrease considerably if she starts to give back shuttle properly
