Whenever I watch ahsan/hendra play is like they're playing some exhibition match, yet still beating all these young pairs.

They're just so used to these kind of tournaments. They don't feel any pressure at all.

Both Akane and Sindhu are struggling lately. Sindhu did not play well today.
Sindhu in the interview said that she made lots of unforced errors and credted this victory to ASY who played really well. Sindhu said that nowadays every player increased their level.
An se young was ecstatic about winning world champion. She could not celebrate it as she us still nervous about next match and has to prepare for it.

Often , they won 22-20 and its not luck at all if you look at how often they did..

Especially against EndoYuta at IO, where they actually lost a big lead in G3 and handed Japanese MatchPoint first

and also at WC Final when they won that tight 1st Game. People often overlook how crucial it is to win these deuces.

    Also today ...

First Ginting, now Jonathan, lost to players they are supposed to beat, suffering early exits in a Super750 tournament.

Gil has now mentioned 7 times that this is "not the Ratchanok we're used to seeing". I remember when an injured AY lost to the bang average Yeo Jia Min recently, she made YJM into the second coming of TTY. Funny thing, this bias. :)

I don't think it's bias. Gill just likes to exaggerate things. It's her way of creating excitement and it also gives a nice contrast to Steens/Mortens, usually more neutral, opinion.

Aya Ohori's first victory against Ratchanok?
She is ecstatic. Ratchanok even made service error at 13-19 down.

    Congrats to AO.
I'm sorry to see RI crash out so soon but it really was an off day for her.

RI continues her saga of bad challenging. I thought she would’ve learnt that from the final in Korea Open. It’s just bad habit at this point. lol She made too many unforced errors today out of her own nervousness. She beats AO easily last time. Also another TTY vs RI clash goes out the window. TTY must be sending Danisa cookies to AO as a gift tonight.

What is the name of the song that they use to introduce players? It's stuck in my head.
