He was mentioning about saina's victory over sindhu during commonwealth games. But we should not take that victory as her standard to talk about current situation in top 5 standards. That sindhu is totally different. See. Today she lost to sayaka whom I never ever considered as a threat to top 5. I accept Gill's words. We cant write her off. But to what extent. For winning titles?. No way.
I am waiting for srikanth's match against Anderson. Will he do it? Or lose it and go back to twitter to say " I tried my 100%. I take 'positives' from this match and come back stronger .' With emojis. I heard that he is coming back from injury. After a long long time, he is playing now. I dont know what to expect from him
I feel that if Kosetskaya has an even better coach and sparring partner(s), she would improve even more.
I think the time has come not to have too much expectations on Saina. She is one of the oldest WS players currently and her career is plagued with injury. It's nice to see her in court even though she lost her touch and fitness. Let her enjoy her time for whatever she has left. Play hard. Train harder.
Ou/Zhang lost.. thanks to the number of mistakes mostly from Ou. I don't know which one is more bearable, Liu/Zhang or Ou/zhang... NEvertheless my life has shortened by much
CWG finals is not a "small" match especially when PVS has never won a gold in it, missing out to LM in Glasgow and SN in Goald coast. What do you mean by "this" Sindhu? of course she was exceptional in WC but by no means was she "not at her best" in her CWG. Can't take anything away from SN, same is true for her victory over PVS in the nationals (in a gruelling long rally) Loosing today to Sayaka, he rightly mentioned she hasn't completely recovered, it's more difficult at her age. Also Sayaka may not be a "top" player is back on right track this year, as is certainly not a pushover. Recently defeated RI and took "top players" like CYF to the brink on several occasions. Am I disappointed? Yes, am I shocked? No. We can only hope she comes back from deep waters like always
Ou / Zhang lost .. I think BWF it's time to create a commission that was engaged in the investigation of strange games. There have been a lot of such games lately. Just review this match. The Chinese are bad actors.
I have right to say as "this Sindhu" as she was monstrous in this World championships. Her victory over Chen Yufei and Nozomi is example of it. Everybody has their opinion . So, if you 'hope' Saina will be winning titles again in the future, ok, Let us see. I have my reservations. Her movements and her current form will not ever get her title in future. Unless her draw favours her, we won't be able to see her in semifinals and finals in the near future. She is playing still in order to represent india @ Tokyo but i have no hopes in her. Cheers
What do you mean? If you have said the Chinese (Ou) is suck player than I would have agreed with you.
This has to be the greatest upset per betting odds in recent times. I follow the odds most of the tournaments and i haven't seen a pair upsetting another pair with 15:1 odds in favour. If I had bet 1000Rs on Chew/Chew I would have got 15000 in return. Strange game is badminton. Play hard. Train harder.
I mean, despite the fact that (Ou) the mediocre badminton player, the class difference between the Chinese couple and the American is simply huge !!! Watch the match. The Chinese simply sold it. They completely lost their conscience. This is just a shame. Watch the match.
For the entire match, SK looked all at sea. Played neither offensive nor defensive...just stood there like a deer in headlights and ended up as a roadkill Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
