True. If Fajar/Rian won the WC and unable to perform consistently good, the INA netizens will "scold" them (even scold is very understatement). And at the end of the year, there will be endless argument whether who are more worthy to qualify to WTF between daddies and minions.

I didn't mean it that way. Wasn't thinking of the netizen, just saying it would have been like the Japanese WD last year.

You mean the whole issue about qualify to the WTF? No worries, the INA MDs won't resort to that tactic. They will qualify fair and square. Both minions and daddies will go all out and not just being enough to qualify.

do you think minions or the daddies would register in the last tournament and then retire on purpose? :p

No way. That's just not in their character. Even if they do, the coach will be angry.

Hahaha oh no no. That wasn't even across mind at all.

I meant the top 2 for having to fight for the last spot because no 3 is wc.
I want top 2 to go:)

Yes. Just wait for the draw and see which opponents that minions will face.

Wikipedia. On top of that , they might meet ChoiSeo in R2. what a djoke. is god giving them direct chance at revenge..

Of course , one can look at it the other way. Like its bad luck for HokiKoba to meet Seed1 especially after they have meet so many good players in WC. It all depends on the results.

I don't know who's the real world number 1 at this point, how can ahsan/hendra have an easier draw than them again, it also happen in the WC.

No point being WR1 if the draw is always harder the WR2. well actually seed 2 is LiLiu in WC.

but thats just testament to how competitive MD is. If its not, most of the opponent will have been easy.

BWF should make WR1 and WR2 being drawn from seed 17-32 onwards, imo. instead of 9-32. At least thats the status they deserve.

    Yesss, a long waited match.
But hold on, playing hoki/kobayasi in the 1st match isn't easy at all.
Hoki has quite strong defense, while kobayasi attacks are really good.
Also, minions usually weren't on fire on their first matches.
On top of thay, it's a slow hall.
let's see how minions will cope with that

No match is easy. JO was also a slow hall and they had to play He/Tan in R1 and Hoki/Koba in R2.
I'd rather have long waited match in QF or SF so we can almost certain get the tv coverage.
