I understand, that's why I say don't depend too much on your physicality as what most of the youngsters are doing , esp the not so talented ones who have no choice.

I'm glad KM proves my belief the right amount of physicality plus talents (skills, thinking, analytical ability, good reading of the game) and mental toughness in optimum balance makes for success at the top, That's what Lin Dan and LCW have in abundance, just that Lin Dan is mentally stronger than LCW.

No doubt, strapping young men in their early to mid 20s enjoy a clear physical advantage over the oldies like Lin Dan and that is because the age gap is just too wide and the old man is already in his twilight years.

Yeah. What a contrast it was for Japan in both the singles. And women's doubles itself, the way it unfolded. The drama. Although the result was still the same for Miyuki and sayaka.

15-0 with the old scoring systems is much different than what we have now, rally scoring point.
You needed to score when you serve to win a point. Otherwise it was going to be just a service over without any point given.

It could have been a tight game full of service overs but the opponent just couldn't win two consecutive rallies.

Yeah. I know about that scoring. But the stats and history behind it which he mentioned was new to me.

    Thanks.

With Satwik/Chirag entering the scene after the cure of their injuries, it will be interesting to see how it unfolds in MD. Exciting time ahead.
