This old japanese pair sucks big time. Too much defence. Deserve to loose. Most boring pair. Very sad that they won wc or og the last time.

Her coach Kim Ji Hyun made it clear it is going to be different tactics for different players/matches. What PVS played today was a bit in contrast to what she played yesterday. Her game today, but for the last 5 points, is reminiscent of the usual PVS game. May be that is what the coaching bench thought would work for her against TTY

Wow, have cramps and can jump smash continuously, that make me wonder if its really a cramps or just a traditional tactic from China

Is history going to repeat itself for Hoki and Koba?

The oldest player on court Ayaka was making all the unforced errors while the CHN youngsters had no difficulty maintaining their pace & attack -- it was clear who needed the match to end earlier...

Back it up. How often has it happened to CHN players?
I'm sure if the match drags on for several more minutes, her cramp will act up again, probably get worse and , perhaps, incapacitate her like what happened to other players before (remember LCW at the WC'13 Final).

This...makes no sense whatsoever. First all JPN matchup is a QF matchup and second one is the SF for tomorrow.

Actually no: if you can actually push Tai to the baseline, then there's very little she can do or you will have enough time to react to whatever she does -- Tai loathes playing the JPN who keep doing that to her and making her run....

Of course, you need to have the accuracy, consistency & patience, blah x 3 of the JPN when making those attacking clears.

BTW, you realize that Sindhu has been smashing past the sidelines and losing her challenges because of that? So it's a good thing she saved it for when it counts.

the chances of GreyAp winning against MatsuNaga is quite slim despite their last meeting victory.... so i don't count it

There is only one ethnic Japanese coach amongst National A Team coaches, and that is Nakanishi Yosuke. The "loud-mouthed" coach you are referring to, Nakashima Kei, is actually ethnically Chinese. He naturalised in 2002.

Hmm, that maybe the case but I thought that would benefit TTY due to her wide range of shots.

Yes that's right, she smashed outside the sideline 2-3 times. But overall too, she didn't play those smashes and when she did either it was out or it was a winner.
