I also feel that the more that I shadow the proper movement the more likely it will transfer over as it will become more natural to me !

In my practice and games I focused on making sure my my leg followed through forward during my stroke
I felt like I was successful at doing so even during the games

Did you feel like you had fewer times of running out the back of the court?

Any other impressions you may have had?

Yes I felt like I had fewer times running out the back of the court and I definitely was able to get my right leg forward more often because I see it in the video

Other impressions ? My overhead shots all felt off. My drops were especially horrible and I think that had to do with my grip and me not using enough pronation. When I looked at my video I noticed the angle of my racket to my arm was more open than last week, perhaps that played a role in this?
On a positive note i was able to split step right after my opponents hit their shots allowing me to be in a little bit better positions

Good. You should be on balance more and will feel easier getting to subsequent shots. It already looks better and you will have a good basis for clears, smashes and dropshots.

Agree with Cheung, this is good progress. Well done! :)

I like the smashes @1:31 and @2:09, for example. The timing of body/foot movements is better. It's starting to flow. Particularly landing left-then-right.

    Shots from last night
I need to do more garage swings and shadow swings at home which seem to translate to better pronation during my games

I watched the last clip when you practicing your 4 corners footwork. The only problem I see here is that your back forehand corner. From the center, you slide back then jump backward hitting the shuttle instead of slide to the back then pre load then hit [just like what you do with your backhand corner] It seems like its your bad habit. Try to get rid of it. Its bad when you try to hit the shuttle while your momentum going backward.
Or maybe you try to shadow hitting china jump then you could try to stand in the center then china jump from side to side.

Yes good catch ! I do have this bad habit that actually many times makes my overhead forehand shot worse than may backhand overhead shot

Some thoughts about your 4-corner practise.

    1. I think, that your base position is too close to the net. You have no issues reaching the net, you could easily touch the net with your racket without a deep lunge, but you almost never reached back to the backline of the court. Most of the time you don't need to reach the net, but you need to often reach the back of the court.
I use some shuttles placed on the floor to mark the position I want to reach after playing a shot. I then start with a split -> movement -> shadowstroke -> back to center -> split -> watch where my feets are in relation to the shuttle.

    2. I think, that you should start with a more neutral split step. The idea of a prep/split step is, that you start the execution of it, before you know where the shuttle is flying. A directed split step, which helps you to reach your target position more quickly, needs a lot of anticipation to reduce the number of misjudgments. I think, that this is an optimisation option for the pros (even pros need to do a correction step if they misjudge leading often to a disadvantage) and you should stick to the more neutral version.

    3. Racket up when going for the net. The racket should be up when going to the net. If your racket is still down when you reach the net, you need to move it up to take a shuttle high, movement ,power and wast of time you should avoid when you want play with a soft touch close to the top of the net .
