She lost in R2. I do think that she has reached past her prime.

Has been a good year for Thai Ladies by far, last year they all looked too weak for the ROW (except RI ofc)
This year both BO and NJ has shown resurgence, not to mention the young Pornpawee (am sure I miss spelt :p )

In the Asian team as well, the girls are doing a commendable job.
Thailand will be a force in coming years, the MS looks promising too

I thought that last year too, but she went on to play decently and defeated PVS, (twice?) And managed to be in top10
Won't write her off just yet.

Ginting has pushed Momota all the way in SO & JO.

I hope one day he can beat KM in Olympic.

Waah what a great match. Momota won in the end. Momota was so relieved lol

Good performance by Ginting. If only his errors could be reduced even more...

Ginting is still a big threat to Momota. I can tell from the audience reaction :D:D:D
Sigh I guess JApan's engine is better than Indonesia's then. What a shame

I hope one day he can turn up against other players as well and not just against Momota. If you see what that guy is actually capable of, it's really annoying that he rarely turns up against anyone else. Look at his piss poor results this year.

CYF's performance isn't her greatest. Still won it anyway, I guess that's that.

I hope my hair is still intact lol. I can't recall how many times I pulled it during Ginting vs Momota match. I am surrounded by local crowds and the only one cheering for Ginting. It it were not in Japan I would have probably been grilled alive right there right then :D:p

The mass media do quite a good job of portraying Ginting as Momota's principal threat, and this may have influenced the audience. Shi Yuqi, Christie, and possibly Antonsen are equally, if not more dangerous, but this is simply not conveyed as much.

Well, I am glad that Momota won, anyway. It will make my train ride to Tokyo tomorrow morning all the more exciting.:D:D

They are one of the most improved sides and with their junior team winning AJC team event couple of days ago, Thai players are ones to look out for in the future.
