Well I guess it depends on what racket he bought. If it was a collectable like a Boron 200, Carbonex 20 etc for example, I would not be happy. But if it was a standard Arcsaber case I wouldn't be too bothered.
You can't have been doing this online buying and selling thing very long.... People will try and deceive you, no matter how trivial. Sent from my ZTE A2017G using Tapatalk
I think he is not concerned about the cover, but the fact that the seller ignore his queries until a dispute was opened before coming alive
You don't use a cover; it does not mean everyone else do not use one. I think the more worrying issues at hand is that he sold the same pair of racquets to multiple buyers (presumed at the same time/few days apart), reported the SAME payment issue to these buyers (which has been refuted by Paypal, for the record), and refused to clarify/confirm/engage with anyone when the issues and evidence against him are presented, other than the obligatory "Im a serious seller, Im not a scammer, speak to Paypal it's their fault". In addition, this does not seem limited to a one-off issue involving myself, but multiples purchases from different buyers over a period of time. Maybe there are more yet to come forward, but it is difficult to say without a formal rating/tracking system like eBay. Also, as multiple people have come forward to his defense, it would seem that some of his sales are legitimate. Then the next question would be, is it really worth it to risk tarnishing one's commercial credibility/reputation for a quick buck by sneaking in a few scams in between? You may say that is all speculation beyond the facts, but take it as you will, Amex gave me a credit refund after their investigation.
I know you and some others had good experiences dealing with freewilly. In fact, I decided to buy the MP100's from him after hearing positive feedbacks from you and another member. However, it seems he is abusing his good reputation by pulling some scams here and there. So far he sold rackets to 4 members but claimed he never received the money which PayPal has refuted with evidences. One member lost his rackets because freewilly claimed he never received. There may be more people who were scammed by freewilly. For me, I was giving him benefit if the doubts but even after a week and multiple confirmations from PayPal he still claimed he doesn't have the money and refused to help with the investigation. I got the same "I never got the money. Contact PayPal because it's their issues not mine, etc..." If it wasn't for a member alerting me to be careful with freewilly (his friend was also scammed by freewilly 2 months ago), we might still be in the dark about freewilly. I sincerely thank him for looking out for all of us. Anyway, we all gave freewilly multiple chances to explain and come clean but he did nothing. Originally, we wanted freewilly to explain and resolve the cases but he does nothing as we all see here. It doesn't look like we will get any explanation from him. Now we just want to warn other members to be careful when dealing with freewilly.
BC should have a "Cheers N' Jeers" forum like, for example, Watch and Flashlight Forums where there are hundreds of sales per day. Members can post good and bad experiences with buyers and sellers. Members with multiple problems get put on a universal blacklist which is stickied, and they get banned.
I've bought and sold various rackets through BC. I've never dealt with Freewilly before, so I can't attest either way. There are a few things people should do when trading products: 1) Sellers should *always* use a signed and tracked parcel. They cost more, but it's worth it. As a seller, you then know if your product has been received. If it's lost/not received, then you can get money back from the courier service. 2) Buyers should *never* use the friends and family paypal option unless they're friends or family. It is much easier to get your money back if it's listed as part of a transaction for goods and services. The people I have used the friends and family option are people I have traded with several times over. 3) Buyers should *always* clarify any details they want to know about the product. This means getting multiple pictures of what you're buying, confirming it's genuine, and then checking finer details. 4) If a racket hasn't been dispatched within 2 weeks, GET YOUR MONEY BACK. There is a window of opportunity to reclaim money for goods not sent. People aren't perfect and some are working, but 2 weeks is a very reasonable time frame to get something posted. If they haven't posted within that time period, it's a red flag, and a sign you should get that money back. 5) To both sellers and buyers: get the tracking number. As a buyer, it tells you the product is on its way. As a seller, it gives you piece of mind that the buyer has received the product and shouldn't dispute the transaction. EDIT: When I send rackets, I send a picture of the tracking number. I don't just tell them what it is, I show them the label or receipt. This is a solid way of proving the goods are being sent correctly, as it usually includes the address. This is common sense internet purchasing. I know people are calling for a reputation system, but the truth is, if you take the reasonable precautionary steps to protecting your sales or purchases, it's not really necessary. I can't understand why anyone would bother trying to commit mail fraud anymore given the extent of protection available. Use that protection!
You dont get the point dont you. Just, because YOU are not using the cover and its not important for you it doesnt mean you shouldnt send the racket in original cover. If is something different the Seller should mention it. It was btw cover for Astrox 88S and he said he would send it if he had it. The funny thing is that he got also the 88D so its quite weird that since he got 2 rackets from 88 series he didnt have even 1 cover. The real reason why I opened a dispute was trying to ignoring my questions why I didnt get the cover. I got pissed by that, since he tried to avoid me. If you knew how to read. I accused him being a scammer for this. "He told me to cancel my dispute and he will send me the amount which I wanted as partial refund. - it doesnt make sense since he could just refund me.... clearly attempt for scam" If you dont get it that only Scammers do this, because he was clearly trying me to cancel the dispute so he wont pay the money. Geezus... how can be people so stupid
They usually ask for a dispute to be closed to avoid black marks on their account. Racket covers are fairly cheap, it’s a minor inconvenience but one I can see why you’d raise.
Minor inconvenience? To whom? The seller? If I purchase a racquet, especially at some of the prices that FreeWilly has (Which are at MSRP if not higher; then you better damn well believe i better be receiving ORIGINAL EVERYTHING. I don't want an arc saber bag if i'm buying a nano speed; FURTHERMORE....COMMUNICATE WITH ME. If you're sending me a mismatched bag to a racquet; LET ME KNOW..... it's that simple. AND THE FACT THAT HE WANTS THE GENTLEMAN TO CANCEL THE DISPUTE PRIOR IN ORDER TO SEND HIS MONEY BACK....IS AN OBVIOUS AND BLATANT FORM OF FRAUD. If he's not trying to pull one over on the gentleman here, then it's fraud against PayPal. I almost did business with this guy, but i decided to go through my local stores, and i'm head over heels as i'm sure he would've tried to lure me into some trap; especially since i have a very bias and superficial view towards people who play badminton; i have a false belief for some reason that players are respectful and to a degree honorable; but fortunately being able to see just how rotten this guy is, shows me who naive i was. best of luck Kulidone ! don't give that f*@#er an inch, get your money back and leave him negative feedback. He's scum and continues to make it difficult for good people to do honest business over central.
Here's my tuppence worth of advice on this type of thing. If you notice that a seller is selling what s/he is advertising as being new and also the latest model at a significantly lower price than what you commonly see it being advertised for online or otherwise, then the questions you must ask yourself are these: Why is this so? Is it the genuine article or a fake and if so, am I prepared to pay x amount of money for it given its suspiciously low price? Once you are crystal clear about the answers that you arrive at using an objective reasoning process then this will guide your next step if any. It is virtually impossible for a private dealer to be in a position to significantly undercut trade dealers on something that is the latest model unless it is being mis-advertised in some way or the dealer is an incredibly incompetent businessperson which is highly unlikely if s/he is still trading.
So the last 2 comments says he Sells above MRSP and the Other Significantly below if you have not dealt with FreeWilli please don't comment as you have not a clue about his dealings. I have purchased 3 rackets all at prices that are in line with 2nd had rackets and all genuine 100 % Yonex.
With all due respect, my comment was a general one about what I believe to be the thought process one has to undertake prior to making purchases from sellers. With regard to FreeWilli Martynas wrote: 'actually some of his posts where to good to be true, so he was selling rackets at lower prices, but scamming others..' If it seems too good to be true, then it usually is.
I too dealt with him many times, paying a good price and with good service. I was very shocked to hear others were treated very differently.
Same here. Dealt with him only once myself and everything went smoothly. Really shocked to read through the thread here and to see that obviously freewilly still hasn't provided any evidence to clear himself yet. Wouldn't be that difficult to do tbh, so there's something fishy going on. The excuse that Paypal has "lost" the money somewhere along the transfer is utter nonsense, hands down. Imagine the **** storm raging around Paypal if only a single case like that was really happening.
hmmm looks like freewilly is online again... posted yesterday?? in his js10 for sale thread that it's still available so what happens to this mp100 case then? it's been resolved already??
I could swear that there was another thread in which he was selling an obviously fake NS9900 just recently. Seems to have disappeared somehow though.
The only NS9900 I have seen by him have been GR coded https://www.badmintoncentral.com/fo...peed-9900-mint-condition.178595/#post-2708037
