The world itself is not about money. But as sportsman, when you retire, money is the most important resources. Might not realise it when you are playing or the top imo. Especially in badminton, it can be argued if players are outside top 5 whether they are making enough.

so definitely its not just for me and some.

if Minions lost there are still other pairs like AhsanHendra. Can only hope LiuZhang play all their matches in Rubber fashion in German.

You forgot fajar/rian, I think they have pretty good chance to go to the SF.

Unless liu cheng suddenly play like in denmark open 2017, and marcus struggle with his form, I think minions would still win this.

Did you mean Liu Cheng in Asian Games team events? He was much better than there than Denmark Open 2017, ZN was better in Denmark Open 2017 though.

Liu/Zhang should have the upper hand in this slower condition against any INA pairs.
I think Fajar/Rian have more chance than Ahsan/Hendra here, if minions ever lost due to any reasons.

Now, I begin to question the randomness of BWF software. How come the similar pattern can happen so often? Guess I will go to the BWF HQ and hacked the system. :D

Do you actually expect minions to play in lower tier tournament? Minions should get some rest.

To be honest, as long as Liu/Zhang won the title in the end I don't mind minions losing here.. :p But if not, minions win plzzzz

I have always questioned this "random" draw.

Most top pairs or players even Liu/Zhang play in Swiss Open, for the reasons we all know. To get the feel before WC.

I think only some top players play in Swiss Open. TTY doesn't participate in Swiss Open. Same for Zheng/Huang. Japan send the B team there.

Most JPN top players are playing in German Open.
    Aren't Fajar/Rian and Ahsan/Hendra top pairs too? Li/Liu, Astrup/Rasmussen, Liu/Zhang?

Well, most top CHN and INA MS and MD players will be there at least.

I never said that they aren't the top pairs. I think you only look at the MD sector. Yes, MD has a lot of top pairs there. However, not many top players in other sectors play there. Just look at XD. The top 3 pairs there are Adcocks duo, Marcus/Ellis, and Mathias/Christinna. Looking at the lists, it seems that only China prepares for WC by sending most of the top players.

How to justify to play at Swiss Open although it will be WC venue when India Open, Malaysia Open, Singapore Open are lining up next.... the level, money prize, time, energy, injury, jet lag

Minions, Please play at Singapore Open Hahaha :p

Yeah no all AE hattrick. In any case, everyone wants to stop them from winning hattrick not just LiuZhang. or hoping they lost so... all the best.

Well as minions are MD, and all INA top male players are there. So yeah haha that's what I meant.
Even in MS, most top players (minus JPN) are going to be there. But my guess would be depending on the result of AE, CHN players might withdraw from Swiss Open a week before. Liu/Zhang didn't even play in both Malaysia Masters and Indonesia Masters, so it's only right for them to play in both German and Swiss Open.

India Open = first 4 consecutive titles
Malaysia Open = they lost last year, haven't won Malaysia Super 750 yet
Shouldn't these two be at the top priorities? :p

I meant instead of your request for them playing in Singapore Open.
Oh, I see. You meant you wanted them to play there so you can go see them in person?

They can always play just one round in Swiss Open.. or they are so confident that they would win it too? lol
Well it doesn't matter, just curious why they are not playing in Swiss Open while most of their teammates will be there.
