I saw LYD playing with the Astrox 88s wonder if he is using 3u or 4u?

Since LYD is using BS12 before does this mean the 88s is fairly light like the BS12 and the 88s 4u being powerless?

An eraser to remove the remaining adhesive glue stuck on the wood will save your fingers next time ;)

    IMG-20181219-WA0001.jpg hi everyone,

im beginner player,. just buy 88s and 88d, both with 3UG5. not try by game yet just swing, feel 88s heavier than 88d in hand.

    i have arc11 3ug5 and vtzf2 4ug5.
all my racket use bg66UM with 27lbs.

if i compare just swing in hand.
    heavy to lighter
    88s > 88d > arc11 > vtzf2 (4u).

maybe coz the 88s shortest, so it's feel heavy. i will try to update after try for real game this weekend.

Finally played with the 88D 3U5 strung with Aerosonic at 26lbs and I'm loving it! Actually, I love both 88 siblings but I feel like that there's more meat with the 88D. Aerosonic also is indeed an awesome string and IMO a good combination with the Astrox 88D. I guess this string would be a good one too with the Mizuno JPX LTD:)

Any one played the AX88D with Gosen GT5 string? Currently have the BG80 at 27lbs on it just thinking about trying the GT5. Any comments would be appreciated

    Thank you

I use G-Tone5 for my astrox 88d 4ug5. Almost same feeling as Bg80

Which racket is more user friendly and easier to use? 88S or 88D?

In my experience so far I would say both though I tend to lean more towards 88D for its meatier feel when smashing. But this particular aspect could be dependent on your playing style and skills. In terms of speed of use, though some people say the 88S is a tad faster, I don't find much difference about this between the two.

    for me,

if you play double, but not strong enough power and your team mates can't 60% cover your back court area, 88D (3U) is better choice.

88S (3U) quite similar but with tad of power than arc11, it's front player special weapon for net, drive, defend and smash from mid to front court.

The 88s is much easier to use, less head heavy and not too stiff (the 88d is the stiffest they have with the zf2 and the z-strike). It's still fairly hard to play though, it's still a stiff HH racket.

Tested and bought the 88d 4ug5 today. Unfortunately they didn't had the s but I am suprised how light the 88d actually is.
And the smash power for a 4u...just WOW!!! I come from a entry level Voltric 0f which is pretty flexible, but I didn't had any issues with the stiffness of the 88d. I felt so much more control with this racket and clears and smashes were effortless and it didn't tire my arm at all. Happy and proud owner here!

I dunno about the 4U 88 siblings but the 3U versions of these 2 are great. Fast and meaty enough.

The first time I hit around with my 4U 88D, I felt like whoa, it was like the first time I drove a turbo car...
