Seems it's not sold out at all in the arena.

And why did they get a radio guy to commentate on the matches. He's like a chatterbox going on and on, often times complete nonsense :mad::mad::mad:

Ups... the defending champions is Hyderabad Hunters

The previous final match is Hyderabad Hunters vs Bengaluru Blasters.

I had created the Premier Badminton League history here.

Have anybody ever seen top badminton players in disguise?

Here you go. Srikanth and Aswini did that.

Ivanov/Chirag beat LYD/KGJ. That was unexpected. Will have to see the highlights of this match.

LS lost to Antonsen in three games.

Tian Houwei's final winning point, a net shot played as if to lift was good, it fooled Prannoy.

Didn't see the doubles match but saw the highlights. That was some super performance from Chirag. The 1 set was tight and it could be anyone's but in 2nd set even LYD, who is arguably the best defender of the game, struggled against the pace of Chirag's flat drives.I am very excited for the Chirag/Rankireddy pair. Hopefully they will be consistent in 2019 and make some inroads in bigger tournaments.

Prannoy is clearly having knee issue. Not sure why he still keeps playing. Such a special talent but a career jarred by repeated injuries.

Mark Caljouw and Lakshya Sen are players to watch out for next year. Lakshya will perhaps need couple of more years to peak. Mark playing awesome.. I am sure he will scalp many big names next year

14-15 and 7-15 are showing that they're desperate in the second game. Maybe LYD gave too many chances for Ivanov doing his attack.

While Hendra/Ahsan won 15-12, 15-11 against the same pair Ivanov/Shetty. A comfortable win for the daddies.

Ok so Last night was thrilling..thr super match being played by two best in the world PVS vs SN and Clearly PVS outclassed SN and showed why she is the best fighter out there she lost the first game by 11-15 but came back stronger and took the game for her team.

One Player more I'd like to mention here is LEE HYUN IL now I dont care if people here contradict me calling him a legend but He fulfills the criteria for me to accept him as one.

1.He is 38 and the way he plays is like a disco dancer or an ice skater.

2.I still find it hard to understand how on earth he maintains his calm..but then I guess thats wha experience is all about.

3.Former World No.1 and WC Bronze Medalist and Someone who just missed a bronze at Oly and except OLy has all major medals Hands down to this Marvelous class of badminton Mr.Lee Hyun IL !!!

Cant wait for today's match !!
