I have played Altius Tour J with my own setup & compared with fortius tour.
Both are with same string tension grip. Stright - VBS66N, Cross - Z64 @ 30Lbs.

    The most impressive : Control
Finally, Mizuno achieved accuracy up to the standard of best Yonex racket.
The Altius Tour J is as accurate as AX88D & ARC11 which are the most accurate models from Yonex IMO.
Even Fortius Tour Series can't achieve such accuracy ( Only up to the standard of most Hi-End Yonex).

    Stiff & Not Stiff :
The first feel upon impact is soft & gentle, but you will feel stiffness with further push.
That's how it achieved good power with soft & Medium-balanced racket.
It's very much like AX88-D 4u. But with slight difference.
Smash power : with full swing, Altius Tour J has better power.
Explosive power application : AX88-D is better. Altius Tour J requires more swing room.
If the head speed is forced in very short time, the shaft perform even worse than AX88-D.
(AX88D need swing room as well, but the perfomance is OK)
To the contrary, fast transient & ultra stiff rackets like NRZSP & Fortius Tour Series Perform Excellent
    in this category.
Therefore, treat it like a pure singles racket, don't force it to be a doubles racket. I tried and didn't go anywhere.

    Maneuverability :
Pretty good. It's not as fast as BS12, but still offers good speed for defense & control.
It's very easy to defense & control the shuttle to anywhere at a decent speed & angle.
At this point, it's very much like Arc11.

    Smash Power :
    AX88D 3u>AX99 4u > FTV > FT 3u > ATJ > AX88D 4u

    Conclusion :
For the price, the performance is under my expectation. Not by much though.
Originally, I expect to force it fast transient like FT and NRZSP by implementation of stiff & high tension string.
But it turned out not supporting this strategy well. (Like AX88D)
Everything else is excellent. It's a great racket for certain players & purposes.
But don't expect it to be some ultra-high value racket.

If you like soft feel racket & want a high-end one, ATJ is the way to go.
Since options are not many, ATJ perform excellent in this category.

Ordered 1 ATJ but still don't know if I will string it or not. I got bs12nc as my main and 88s 4u. I play doubles.
88s 4u is great for me but It stress my shoulder when smashing.
@footw about defense, does atj got feature like astrox rotational generator system (because it's easier for me to def with 88s 4u rather than ac11nc?

    https://instagram.com/mizunobadmintonsingapore try to ask them.

The one i have with string and replacement grip, the BP is about ~295mm. String with stock grip is about 300mm.

ATJ is limilted. In Taiwan, only preordered clients get it.
The first batch can't even fulfill the order, & many people have to wait till the second batch.

The rotation system only applies to Astrox series & only works well with 3u AX models.
IMO, defense with AX88S is enhanced by the 5mm shorter design rather than rotation system.

If you want ATJ but didn't preorder one, you can simply buy an 4u AX88-D.
They play almost totally the same.

Front net play needs more effort compared to prototype X-1. It definitely has more power at the backcourt when compared to prototype X-1, it has a good feel for the drop shot. When compared to my friend Lining N9II, it kinda feel similar maybe just slightly softer than N9II.

The first batch was not enough for received orders.
There will be a second batch for those who didn’t receive in the first batch.
The total limited number is still there.
