It's pretty similar to the Malaysian colours, but looks better than the pink version.
Both Li-Ning and Yonex went with that heathered effect, so Victor missing out on a trend?

Saw a few clips of Kim Dae Sun on YT. Wondering if there's any more info on this player? Why is he not competing internationally anymore? Did he ever? Made it to the national team? He's still quite young.

    This is an interesting topic
Their performance has been somehow 'unclear' (inconsistent is an overstatement) this year...

They were still fine at the start of the year (MAS Masters, All England I think too) then by the BAC, they retired during their R1 match (due to injury to Lee So Hee it was said at the time, a back injury I think). Then they played poorly during the Southeast Asian leg of the World Tour, the World Championships, and even at the Asian Games where Lee So Hee's play didn't really seem comfortable (first time I was able to watch her again), much like she was holding back on a lot of her smashes and other shots. Then now during the East Asian leg of the World Tour, the first round retirements continue. I'm struggling to find official details about her condition though. Very crucial for them at this point as it was during the European leg of the tour last year that they as a pair burst into the scene so a whole lot of points to defend.

Found this on youtube, really fun game. whoever make a mistake should get out of the court and let the other play :D they also try their best not to lift, in Indonesia we call this "no lob" style :D

5 players on this video are already coming back, now we only need yoo to coming back too :p

That's just a one-time thing, though. Kim Sang Soo and Park So Young are not eligible to compete at will like Yoo is, as an Asian Games team gold medallist. This, we found out from Ko Sung Hyun after the Gwangju Masters, is the rule that prevents Ko from competing regularly with Eom Hye Won. Kim and Park were part of a 4-team contingent in Dubai that happened to include Yoo's Suwon City Hall team, as well as municipal teams from Hwasun, Dangjin (Kim's team), and Pocheon (Park's team). Such domestic teams only travel overseas a maximum of once a year. Yoo can continue competing but he will need to find a partner.

That sounds complicated. hope he would find a new partner and we could see him back in higher competition.

He is playing in the US K&D Graphics IC with Hock Lai Lee. He will be playing later on vs the # 1 Canadian MD.

Not exactly. The discusssion above is about Yoo Yeon Seong, who just left the national team in May 2017. Hock Lai Lee's partner is two-time Olympic silver medallist Yoo Yong Sung, who left the Korean national team after the Athens Olympics in 2004.

The elder Yoo has played with Hock Lai Lee before but it's unclear both why he was given a new BWF ID in 2015 and why he has suddenly reverted back.
