I do wish Ayaka/Misaki win tomorrow. They've lost their last 3 matches against Lee/Shin which worries me a bit.

Disappointed about shi yuqi. Not satisfied with his performences today. He was troubled by a player who haven't reached a final or semi fianl in a super series or above level tournment until today. If he plays like this tomorrow he has a very low chance to win the title

“I was patient, even when I made errors,” noted Pusarla, also 23 years of age. “I have improved mentally. Like the end of the second game, before I would have been nervous when she came back and got game points, but today I was focused on the next point and remained positive.”

Speaking about her match against Nozomi Okuhara “It will not be easy because we know each other’s styles,” said the player haunted by the fact that she has always faltered at the finish in big finals.

“I hope that ending the season, I can win gold. Definitely, it would mean a lot. I would not call it pressure. I will just play freely, like how I have played these last four matches and, if I win it, it will be very important for me,” she said emphatically.

She was always runnerup in all the major events. Olympics finals, Last year Dubai finals, Asian games finals, Common wealth games finals, 2 World Championships finals. Always getting Silver.

He was runner up in Hongkong Superseries in 2016 or 2017, i have to check it. He defeated Shi Yuqi in straight games in Denmark open 2018. Today , the wrong decision made by Umpire gave him the life and match.

Whole Japanese Team complained to BWF about the slippery court and about the red colour of the court. Even player from canada and USA also complained about the same.

"Yes, we have received feedback from Team Japan that the players said the courts were slippery and rough. We have also received similar feedback from players from Canada and USA.

"However, no player or coach has made a complaint to the referees regarding the issue," BWF told indiatoday.in.

What wrong decision? You mean net kill by Shi Yuqi in second game at 20-20. Shuttle was never going over the net but he hit it on his own side. So it was correct decision by umpire.

Very similar to situation when Momota was playing against CTC last month.

Lol. Your image won't show correct point of contact. Watch the match. He hit the shuttle clearly before crossing over the net. Everybody watched it .

This is the last frame from stream before contact, in next frame contact has already happened. In this frame feathers are over net and Shi Yuqi is allowed is to hit it. Or are you saying shuttle was somehow traveling back to Verma's side and when contact happens Shi Yuqi is hitting it on wrong side of net. Sure :D
My evidence shows clearly it was a valid shot and .. you tell to watch the match. Right. Let's not spoil discussion with facts

According to betting companies who are supposed to know their business odds are as follows:
    Momota 85%
    Shiwei/Huang 72%
    Okuhara 55%
    Li/Liu 57%
    Matsutomo/Takahashi 54%

Bit surprised to see Okuhara as a favourite.
