Well done Momota, he definitely doesn't make it easy for anyone to defeat him even if he is dead tired
Momota didn't win this, but I think it has been his best match of the season for sheer willpower. The last time I was this impressed by a sports person was after Okuhara's three marathon matches in a row in Glasgow. Take a bow, son (not Wan Ho).
Hmmm....though I have strict policy to be a loco fan of players and for that a player has to have all the Major Medals or if not all majors then at least an Olympic. But this SWH has turned me into his fan not a LoCo one but definitely earned my Huge respect...Now my Second fav players in this league are ( ASG,JC and now SWH ) Well played KM You are a blaster and you know that your the best in the world currently and I know you will come back stronger...I like you a lot. SJH and RI both likable players..So rooting for both.
I like how Momota battles it out despite his physical condition in this tournament. It's hard not to root for someone who doesn't give up and continues to play despite the difficulty that someone has. Willpower certainly is important.
The match played against super players are always memorable For me This HK SF will be one of those memorable matches which are in the list of the most legendary matches of all time for me 1. PVS vs NO ( WC 2017 ) 2. PVS vs CM ( OLY 2016 ) 2. ASG vs KM ( AG ) 3. SYQ winnin the AE 4.HK SS SWH vs KM Its just a unique taste of watching two best in the world displaying the finest form and spirit of the sport on court.
I loved japanese players even 1 year back. Because of the arrogance of his fans, i tend to hate him. I still support japanese players except him. Unless his fans understand this and tone it down, this will continue forever. Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
Thought SWH was gonna give KM the match when he started to make those simple errors, but kept his cool and focus. Was expecting similar performance from CTC last week.
Think about it. KM has played in 5 consecutive rubber games since his match vs Chen Long in SF Fuzhou China Open.
