    When Lee chong wei defeated Momota, his 'lover' fans started to talk that only LCW is able to win him
    Then came Anthony. Then they started to sing only Ginting can beat him.'
    Then Later, they said that CTC can come close to beat him.
    Now i ask them to add Chen Long in their list. Lol
    This list will keep on increasing as the days progress. His game will be scrutinized . Simple. Patience is the key.

    KM is playing against a defensive minded player. I think CL isn't motivated anymore after his Olympic win so maybe he isn't training as much or he isn't as focused. But you can see if CL is motivated, if his form is decent, he is still in contention for the best player in the world. LCW always brought out the best in CL.

    What matters is if CL is still fit, if he is motivated, and if he is in form. Age wise, CL is still young enough to win another WC or OG. If CL can maintain his form, focus, and fitness, I think he would be a top 3 favorite in 2020 to win the OG.

    Don't need to find any excuses at all. I always think CL can beats KM when CL is playing high quality badminton.

    Chen Long reminiscent of his Rio'16 form. Chen Long is back. Or The Dragon returns - have to wait a while more to confirm it the following months should give us the answer.

    Nah. He was in a different zone during Rio ‘16. But I would say this is the best in recent times.

    So besides Anthony Ginting and Chou Tien Chen (to a little less extent), we now have to count in Chen Long as a serious threat to Momota for top honours going forward.
