badminton god just don't want to see that lame Danish celebration anymore. Running around like Forrest Gump
The last time minions lost in Final is at this very tournament so it wont be surprising. Difficult to bring home the title. Still remembered AhmadNatsir finishing 2nd for 4 consecs year.
I think CTC is third best player at the moment behind Momota and Ginting. He had very good and high quality match against Momota at Thomas Cup. So I would say CTC has 40% chance to win tomorrow.
Same, hopefully he'll be at his best in the final, if not...then there's big chance kamura/sonoda gonna win. he had some trouble whenever hoki/kobayashi attack to his forehand side...even gill notice it. gotta work on that.
Country representative in Final 4 - JPN 2 - TPE 1 - INA, CHN, THA, IND All of the world number one are the hot favourite to win the title.
FINAL (12.00pm) => https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/...85EA57-347D-4D3B-AD28-2EFBD4890DDB&d=20181021 Sad ending for host Denmark as none of their players could through into finale, Japan has most representatives favoured to seal two titles. All world number one in five discipline make it to final, we'll see whether there's upset by the lower-ranked finalist. WS, Tai Tzu Ying (TPE) v Saina Nehwal (IND) H-2-H : 12 v 5 / WR : 1 v 10 World number one Tai Tzu Ying is clear favourite based on her consistent performance and overall head to head statistics, the last time that Saina Nehwal won over her remarkable opponent happened 5 years ago in Swiss Open 2013. Both finalists stamped their authority to outmaneuver youngsters yesterday, only little resistance delivered by He Bingjiao and Gregoria Mariska Tunjung throughout the match. Tai-Nehwal showdown is rematch of INA Masters Super 500 final early this year. The skillful Taiwanese star regrouped her focus after scored uninspiring result last month in Tokyo and Changzhou while resurgent Nehwal looks in good form along this tournament defeating two Japanese starlets en route into last round, only had tough times to pass opening hurdle Cheung Ngan Yi. First ever DEN Open title for Tai if she could prevailed this evening whilst Nehwal will eye to reclaim 2012 crown. XD, Zheng Siwei/Huang Yaqiong (CHN) v Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Sapsiree Taerattanachai (THA) H-2-H : 1-0 / WR : 1 v 13 On paper prediction, the Chinese lethal combination will continue their supremacy in BWF World Tour but no impossible for Thai dynamic duo Puavaranukroh/Taerattanachai to spoil their party as Zheng/Huang were stretched into the limit at CHN Open Super 1000 quarterfinal. The top-seed started superbly to dictate the pace against Ahmad/Natsir in first set then the Olympic champion changed tactic to play flat shots and pushed the Chinese more to the baseline, it worked well until mid third game but World champions were back to their fast and powerful mode. Thai pair also need extra efforts to conquer the stubborn Korean lefthanders Seo SJ/Chae YJ who tried to bounce back in trailing behind, 2-13 to lose 16-21 at deciding game. WD, Yuki Fukushima/Sayaka Hirota (JPN) v Koharu Yonemoto/Shiho Tanaka (JPN) H-2-H : 4-2 / WR : 1 v 6 It's all about Japanese pairs in women's doubles category, they set new benchmark that really hard to break their domination for others at the moment, including China. Only few tournaments that saw JPN combinations fail to clinch title in 2018 calendar so far, Asian Games and All England are missed from their trophy collection. The steady Fukushima/Hirota eliminate Polii/Rahayu in semifinal meanwhile their teammates Yonemoto/Tanaka trounced Korean scratch pair Kim HJ/Kong HY. It's first final in top-tier tournament for world number six after won Dubai Finals 2017 sensationally, they're last year beaten finalist lost to Lee SH/Shin SC. FukuHiro are expected to taste fourth triumphant in this season after GER Super 300, INA Super 1000 and JPN Super 750. MD, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo (INA) v Takeshi Kamura/Keigo Sonoda (JPN) H-2-H : 5-4 / 1 v 4 An ideal final if we look their close head to head statistics but still the Minions will be the frontrunner to scoop another MD crown in BWF World Tour. Gideon/Sukamuljo worked hard to tackle vast experienced and illustrious seniors Ahsan/Setiawan as they know each other well. Two-time world champion put the pressure in second game to world number one pair, from 10-16 down they forced deuce and losing narrowly, 22-24. In other semifinal, Kamura/Sonoda decimated England duo Ellis/Langridge in close contest, 21-17 / 21-19 as last shot witnessed Marcus Ellis mishitted shuttlecock into the net. MS, Chou Tien Chen (TPE) v Kento Momota (JPN) H-2-H : 2 v 7 / WR : 4 v 1 Sixth consecutive final for current king Kento Momota in BWF World Tour and he has high possibility to bag another title here. Slim chance for quite fatigue Chou Tien Chen to topple his strong opponent, last time he beat Momota in GER Open S300 last eight before the Japanese ace transformed to incredible form since won BAC last April. Looking at Momota path into last stage, only his nemesis Anthony Ginting who could trouble him in opening round, what an unfortunate draw for both players to facing each other prematurely. Title holder Kidambi Srikanth couldn't find an exact answer how to stop Momota instead of produced uncharacteristic errors while home last man standing Anders Antonsen made good start to take opening game, 21-19 then Chou come back stronger to take command in next two games, 21-11 / 21-12, leaving local fans in huge disappointment.
Well he became WR1 because they keep winning their matches not because they play like WR1. Not so sure how WR1 should be playing though, honestly, except keep on winning and gaining points.
You are unbelievable. Your work to this forum is priceless. Every tournament thread without your opening post is unthinkable. Thanks for your work. Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
Hi, in a few hours, I will face Kamura/Sonoda. It will be a tough match. I need your support and hopefully win the title.
I just hope for an exciting MD game. Too many MD matches these days are just 2 or 3 shot rallies which put me to sleep. The match yesterday for JPN vs ENG was good to watch since it actually had rallies.
