Lin Dan has most world championships of all MS players and Marin has most for WS player. In that sense they are similar.

5-12 to 13-12 in opening game then 9-13 to 21-13 at second set. Seems Chen Yufei can't maintain her focus and has no back up plan. As predicted, Carolina Marin tops CHN Open podium without serious problem.

12 straight points to close it out for Marin, wow.

Marin is a legend in her own right. If badminton were to grow, we need more girls from europe to play this sport.

I dont think she is irritating today. Few years back , maybe. But that is just believing in her own ability that she did that.

Marin played the least matches in the first half of the year, she didn't compete in Uber cup, then not in Asian Games (for obvious reasons). Stamina wise, she is probably the strongest one right now. She surely knows when to peak :D.

I feel with emergence of Momota and Ginting , MS is more enjoyable to watch. Fantastic net play, Smash not too shabby either.

MS WS MD generally exciting to watch. WD and XD is getting meh and meh.

So far, MS is match of the day.

The Chinese crowd enjoying this All-Japan WD match, applauding good badminton, oohs and aahs whenever a great rally is played

Unlike when Ginting played Momota, they were cheering more for Ginting. Though yesterday they were all cheering for CTC against Ginting :D:D So transparent with their favorites.

Want to know Momota's secret to maintaining his form in view of the crowded tournament schedule required by BWF ?
    Eat, Drink and Sleep Well.

There you have it, from the maestro. Simple.

China looks under pressure to make this a successful tournament looking from the coach gesture.
