Momota to the Final! 21-10 21-17

But I'm impressed with SYQ in G2. At least he lost it trying and fighting.

Yup, G2 is more like it. If it's any indication, I think Shi Yuqi will soon emerge as the next player who can take KM on, besides Ginting, of course. And then, don't be surprised if a couple other young ones get the hang of playing KM , sooner than we expected.

Lol. You must be kidding me. That's why shi yuqi has negative h2h against SK. I think it is 1-4 or 1-5 , i think.

Jst waiting for AY vs CYF and then its goodbye frm me..UNLESS CYF comes to final

CYF thrashed the Silver Queen good yesterday and I hope she at least attempts to thrash AY and other top players too.

Though I think had Gao veen in this groups i think she had better chances of being in the finals.

You sound like motivator for him :D Seeing the gap between Momota and Shi YQ, the young Chinese must practice very hard to balance the speed, accuracy, netplay, lethal smash and mental aspect.

Comparing to tennis ....momota is now like federer but with less flair, just as lin dan was in his prime...nadals and djokovics will rise in the badminton world too.

Bro Plz name a Single Major by SK, being an Indian myself I know I shouldnt hurt my fellow citizens sentiments however,We should give credit to sportsmen where its well worth it and as for the comparison of both the players go

I would rate SYQ well above SK the reason is SYQ is an ALL ENGLAND CHAMPION and even though not Too Major but its big enough and special enough to hold a prestigeous events place.

whereas I cant remember any Major other than CWG ( i dont consider it major as no top players of Asia etc are there ) that SK has won...though I would love you to educate me or remind me of any BIG achivement by SK

other than his short by default 1 week as World No.1. ?

Yes, I am, and it can be done as SYQ is still relatively young at 22, still some room for improvement, unlike the older players like , say Chou Tien Chen or Suppanyu Avihingsanon both at 28.

That's also why, I added, some other young ones may be able to do it too. Let's wait and see.

At least for now, with LCW out of action for quite some time due to a career-threatening disease, KM has one less threat to contend with. So I'd expect KM to more or less rule until year end. Next year then we talk about it when it comes.
