I don't understand reactions like this. The service is either correct or not, the timing is irrelevant. Umpires and other judges should not alter their behavior according to the score at all. I hate when people try to justify or criticize calls or judgement based on the score or timing, like "you can't call a foul that close to the end of the match"...its really the player themselves who are responsible for that timing, and they shouldn't be immune to faults or fouls just because the game is tight or the match is about to end.
Just my 2 cents. Also it's quite possible you didn't mean it like that, but my point isn't specific to you anyway, so don't take it personal please :)

    agree
but I am still waiting for the time when BWF put a camera exactly at 115 so it can be reviewed, or possibly challenged in further future

When will this experimental trial expire ? If they decided to try another new rule, I don't think they would use any devices (that cost them) at all.

All different nations in both MS (INA, TPE, CHN, JPN) and MD tomorrow (INA, CHN, DEN, TPE).

Two representatives for JPN in both WS (2 JPN, CHN, SPA) and WD (2 JPN, INA, BUL)
Personally I am hoping for Polii/Rahayu vs The Stoevas for WD final :D

As for XD, it's WC all over again with the same pairs but different match up.

    That's alright.

Minions might as well have more time to rest for the final.

I'd say CHN Open EO just did them a huge favor. :D:p

As you can see, XD is least competitve. China hanging on to last sector like cats hanging to fishes.

Of course, I'm not questioning the service judge's call, only to express the timing of the fault committed by Wang Yilu, hence the question mark and exclamation mark. How am I to know for sure if there's a service fault as seen on TV, even on TV replay ? You're clearly misreading my post or reading too much into it. Similarly for those three guys who agreed with you, so negative and suspicious of all of you. Oops, nothing personal.

Unless there is a camera placed strategically and viewing through the perspex gadget, we won't know what the service judge saw.

Good to see the Stoevas fill in the very palpable void left by fellow Europeans Juhl/Pedersen in WD, at least for this tournament. Good job in dispatching of reigning AG Champions but tough for them to get past reigning WC, and if they do, tough to also get past reigning Olympic champions potentially. If they actually win, they deserve a separate award for actually doing that. :p

I am already looking forward to a Matsumoto/Nagahara v Matsutomo/Takahashi final on Sunday though! :D

Obviously, this 1.15m rule is not without its problems, not least how it's implemented. Anyway, I believe BWF is still working on it as previously reported.

What's most important is getting the call right, without fear or favour, with impartiality and minimizing human error to the utmost. Lucky thing we have Hawk-Eye IRS though it's not perfect yet.

its always sportsmanlike when u scream after the point, its not distracting opponent at all cos the rally is done. She often appology if she hit net cord or hitting opponent body, sometimes no just cos she didnt see it or too happy at the time

I just realized that from the matches tomorrow. China may only get represented in XD. WD is gone,SYQ is playing against momota, odds are momota will win.
    Same with MD and WS.
Everything is possible but it is definitely worrying for local supporters

AG? No Zhang/Li but Ahmad/Natsir instead. So 3 different nations back in AG.

Just like WD with mostly JPN pairs, wasn't it fun for you? Never seen you complained about that. :p

But it's not their fault if one nation dominated one discipline the SF. It's just the others are simply not good enough.

JPN did dominate WD but I think they never have team orders like CHN do. Everyone is free to race each other, Hence there is always different winner. We know what happened in CHN,we always do since 2012 OG

So are you suggesting that Wang/Huang kept losing to Zheng/Huang numerous times because of teams order? I highly doubt that.
