    AG is the giant slayer.

Beaten ChenLong Momota LinDan Axelsen within a month. Like Steen said, he is someone Momota would like to avoid.

It will be tough at Lion's Den but I hope he can give a rubber match and see how it goes.

I don't think Momota would like to avoid Ginting. He will want to go out to prove himself. This year Momota has a H2H of 3-1 against Ginting, so the latter shouldn't be too intimidating.

I believe this defeat against CL would be demoralizing for JoJ. Either he is over the hill in his badminton career or whatever plan he had devised for him on his comeback trail is definitely not working for him.

I think this is the first time Indonesia put reps in 5 disciplines in SS QF in a long time not that other countries other than Japan and China can do it.

On the other hand, it looks like minions stand in the way of China MD breaking 17 years duck.

INA is widely known as badminton powerhouse since long time ago before China joined IBF (now BWF) so it's not surprising package that INA can do it this feat.

I think XD is Indonesia weakest sector now. Believe it or not, in MS, they won 1SS title this year same with XD plus the AsianGames.

WS is the weakest, Gregoria Mariska is the only hopeful for INA to talk much in top tier tournaments but considering her less experience, it needs more time to polish her talent.

Ginting has some the toughest draws in recent times ...even at AG..Having said that he has beaten former 2 time OLY champion, current world no.1and former world champion(albeit injured).

Will he beat reigning OLY champion,a former world no.1 and ,looking way ahead, current WC...?

But ginting beat him at the biggest stage AG although with home support. His style (fast attacking game with good netplay, not allowing momota to get his controlling patient rhythm) counters momota's and he has generally given the most trouble to momota(apart from lcw) since momota's comeback.

Ok So Lookin up at Korea Open schedules I see the Oly Champ Li Xuerui can upset anyone

She is in the qualification round and she is posed to enter the cuircit.and When shes back I fear for TTY ever winning a major tittle with Gao,LX,CXX and the chinese girls in the block which have seemed to have found their way to stumble her.

I have a strong feeling Li Xuerei is very strongly looking to get another Gold at Oly and she is not in a mood to spare no one.

If they are going to put 10 matches, they should start it at 10 instead of 12.

Well this may just be a bull **** theory, but putting Han Zhou/ VS Huang/ Wang on 1st match, and the INA MD pair 2nd last seems like a strategy to boot INA out of semi final and break the egg on MD win.
Especially if that MD match start first tomorrow. :p

I agree, based solely on the fact ws is consistently exiting tournaments the earliest.

Well i am sure Kevin knows about China 17 years drought, can he stop it once again just like the dramatic comeback did against ChaiHong in 2016 and LiLiu in 2017.

For Kevin, maybe it doesnt matter where you play lol.
