i've been saying it for the past 18 months.
his peak run ended in early 2017.
    he plays like a robot.
creative players have surpassed the machine.

With Chen Long out in R1, his 7K ranking points lead over Lin Dan is under threat for a spot in the Asian Games. Let's how far Lin Dan can go to overtake Chen Long but he's to overcome Shi Yuqi tomorrow, a tricky proposition.

I know, I remember you saying that, looks like you'll be proven right, Chen Long is taking too long (pun intended) to get back to his former prowess, no sign of that yet.

when okuhara or yamaguchi lose game 1 it usually means you're going to play 3.

With Chen Long going out like that, not just here, CHN MS is one ace player less, not sure when Lu Guangzu can fill his role one day. A worrying sign for Team CHN in MS, what with the aging Lin Dan still having to play an important role in CBA.

Really superior shotmaking and shot quality from Okuhara... and she's keeping it in now from this side of the court. Shame if she goes out in R1. Go Nozomi!

I'm referring to her nose which she is seen holding and rubbing , them walked to the side to attend to it , delaying the start of the game.

Wow what a rally on court 1!
Both females had to go out to change their racket. Malaysian pair won the point

Mmmm as usual with Malaysians... having the early lead and unable to make a comeback. They also have a 3-0 H2H against this Thai pair and yet.. oh well.

No one to blame but themselves. So far XD has been sub-par, considering their ranking.
