Men's Singles Top Two seed Lin Dan and Jorgensen collapse on the first day.

13-21 / 12-19 retired. Lee Dong Keun first ever victory over Lin Dan occurs in their 10th meeting. Big disappointment for home fans who expect to watch Lin's real action. Lee DK performs really aggressively to smash all the way in high-paced tempo.

Especially Dan...who has 11000 Eleven Thousand Only points to defend...Jan can play in Canada if he wants to improve his form

Fox, Jorgensen is the unseeded here, Sameer Verma occupies second seed but he had withdrawn. With pre-tournament favourites Lin and Jorgensen are already ousted, it's wide open for any player to nail MS crown.

LD looked out of sync from the first point. Hopefully, he can play in Malaysia and Indonesia.

JOJ match wasn't streamed so couldn't tell how his form was.

But LD's didn't look good. He kept hitting it too loose, too wide or too low. His net play hardly pulled through.
You're right. Hopefully he could play better in Malaysia and Indonesia.

Even if he doesn't. I am glad that elusive Malaysian Open was won by him last year when he was playing his Best Badminton in 2017.

Lee Dong Keun is on the rise, in All England he beat Jorgensen and played well vs LCW and now he beats LD.

Maybe he over-exerted himself during a "translation session"...

We are governed by people who like to live in the moment and leave a bleak future for the children :( To think that in the 19th century, there was no income tax and definitely no GST.

Sportsman/sportswoman from sponsor-starved sports are struggling, there is no future for them

But many countries still trust the power of the US and the strength of her currency. The day this trust is lost, the US may have to print much more money to support its appetite. By then the USD would have lost much of its value.
