As a player, I think Zhang Nan has surpassed Park JB.

But it will take at least 20 to 25 years for Zhang Nan to become head coach of a country.

An epic ending delivers China to lift Thomas Cup 10 times, at the brink of losing Li JH/Liu YC fortunately calm down their nerve to take 4 consecuitve crucial points, 17-21 / 21-19 / 22-20 what a thrilling match! Credit to Japan scratch pair, Sonoda/Watanabe who really pushed Chinese pair into the limit, superb fighting spirit.

The key factor to determine China victory is MS2, Shi Yuqi fulfills and prove his quality as current All England Champion to dictate and outmaneuver Kenta Nishimoto. At second game 17-17 this young man keep focus to score another three points and seal the match. A warming up major team experience to prepare mental toughness as high possibility Shi YQ will be China leading man in next Thomas Cup 2020.

Congratulations to China Thomas team :) They experienced very painful memory two years ago, had disastrous quarterfinal outing at homesoil. Now, they're back to bring the coveted trophy.

It hardly takes an Einstein to predict that China was going to win this Cup. Everyone who voted for Japan was fully aware that they were choosing the underdogs. But wouldn't this stream have been boring had everyone rooted for China?

Whatever. Go ahead and give yourself a big slap on the back for being so "wise" or was it "objective" with your prediction. Congratulations!

Or perhaps he sacrificed himself and played Momota despite being sick knowing that he would suffer a defeat.

Or perhaps he just lost fair and square and is now sick fair and square.

So far the only ones who are able to capitalize on that common knowledge effectively are Marcus/Kevin apparently. Zhang Nan is still too good to let the others bully his partner.

The F$&&&)$ NBC bought the rights and to watch the stream on their NBC Olympic site you need cable subscription. I hate NBC.
