As part of his housekeeping duties, LD must now pray hard that his colleagues win at least 2 matches.

You guys are smoking some low quality stuff. Every dragon awakens when it’s a team event, Japan can’t win with momota alone. China is a lot stronger, Lin Dan is a lot hungrier in team events. Why the hell would you people bring in personal H2H in team events? Have you learnt nothing from Chen long vs Indonesia? Annoyed by lack of objectivity and too much fanboyism.

    People said LD has moods.
When he is in good mood, he is good.
When he is in bad mood, he is bad.
So pray tell me which mood will he enter into?
Let's hope by that time LD has not lost his patience....

What do you mean by Chen Long vs Indonesia though? The match against Ginting?

If that's the case, I already replied to that in post #76

Seriously, if CHN could beat INA in 3-1 I don't see how they could fail beating JPN.

Japan only has underdog’s luck riding with it, courtesy weak MD and inexperienced ms. Otherwise they will be thrashed. I am more surprised at vittinghus losing his draw than anyone else. Indonesians never had the chance with ginting and Christie. It’s the overall team play that matters, like Japan über cup victory. Clearly they had everything right, strong ws, strong wd working in their favour. Which other country could have come close? It’s the similar case with China Thomas cup team. Each and every one is experienced, have tasted victories or narrow defeats. Can’t say the same for Japan except momota.

It has been proven time and again that if C beats I, and I beats J, it does not necessarily mean C will beat J.

Of course. But we all know in overall, CHN strength is slightly above the JPN, it's just a matter of nerves and lucks.

I was not surprised by Vittinghus losing to Nishimoto though. You would not as well If you had been following Nishimoto.

    But check my post #100

    Him? You mean moi? :p

I was only insisting on CHN can't be losing both MDs.

Oh that? I know I am right about that. :)

    @yuquall

    Oui toi!

Because you said China's strength is above Japan. Which is absolutely true. But I hope this will be proven to be false.
