treat the AS as your wife gentle at the beginning

continue to love it after all the freshness and makeup is gone

I know I‘m asking for the impossible here, but I‘ll still try: Does anyone know a string very similar to AS that doesn‘t play like crap after 2 weeks of heavy use? It‘s getting annoying to string this every week...

Yeah, that‘s what I expected. I mean, there are the very thin Zymax strings but if the feel of the ZM65 is anything to go by the feel of the others is gonna be atrocious, as well.

Maybe @visor can compare the thinner Zymax strings with Aerosonic? :p

I'm surprised it can last you a full week lol. You wanna try the original BG66 but it's very hard to find and very expensive (more so than aerobite or anything else in the market)

I'm just talking about playability here. Longest I once had was for 1 month. :p

Tried Kizuna 63, it was alright but not good enough to make me order it repeatedly. Pretty hard feeling, rougher than you'd expect, but repulsion isn't what I expected.

Thanks for your suggestion but BG80 and AS are as much apart in all departments as possible. :D

While it's very close in thinness it's not showing the great repulsion that AS does. More like a thinner No. 1, also I don't think it's produced anymore. Read it somewhere a while ago.

See I find LN1 very repulsive, and LN3 a thinner and more repulsive version. Good luck on your search! 62 Fire and go like 4lb over worth a shot?

I have tried the Kizuna 58 and 63. Aerosonic is my go-to string @ 25 lbs.
Kizuna 58 is very similar to Aerosonic @ 25 lbs tension, both in repulsion and tension holding but the 63 has a harder feel on the stringbed at similar tension (think BG80).

Yeah, unfortunately there's no real alternative. Maybe Kizuna Z58, but that doesn't come in reels.
