TTY lost the second game and AY is so deep in energy saving mode, she's actually recuperating. If she put any less effort in there, she'd be walking backwards. Feel bad for PJB sitting on he sideline having to clap this crap.
OMG, looks like the NE Asian (JPN, TPE) and Euro-American (CAN, FRA) teams have trouble dealing with the SE Asian drift in Thailand....
Didn't realize Julien Maio was a "Chris Langridge-in waiting" -- European badminton is going to be entertaining even after Chris Langridge retires, LOL!
Sameer Verma vs Lucas Corvee looks like a battle of nerves more than anything else (is this the "biggest" game they have ever played?) -- they have such different playing styles that it just depends who is able to counter their opponent and play their own game... EDIT: And Corvee does it in 3 games! Not only has his stamina improved -- he has stopped running around chasing the shuttle, and instead learnt to stand his ground until he can read his opponent's game.
And India. What were they even thinking while fielding this team for both Thomas and Uber cup. India is no China or Japan.
With the lack of top guns like SK and HSP, it will be tough for India. Not to mention the lack of their young MD pair.
It will be very tough for India now to win the tie. They have to rely on their inexperienced players against a motivated French team.
Sameer My Boy Verma...Were the nerves constantly getting better of you or has Corvee's curve of improvement jumped leaps and bounds?
