I found the small square heads better for single holes. They take a few jobs at my tension without any rotation which is a lot more than anything else.

Which grommets do you mean with small square head? Are those the red LN grommets?

I currently run them as a test in one of my JS10 and they seem to be rather soft on a first impression. Around the top, I still prefer the small-T ones which last forever, at least at tensions <30 lbs. A bit of a shame that they don't really work as single pass grommets on 76holes rackets.

Small t ones that don’t work on long single pass holes. LN one’s were sent to me as well like a long while back by him but I wasn’t as impressed.

Shame indeed. I ended up using normal thick head for longer holes. He should make the small t head in longer variants. I wouldn’t mind just one super long variant so I can cut it up. Not like it takes a long time anyway.

Here's a video i put up of the grommet flaring tool in action:

Thoughts: Great product, only the gold/brass part is heated. It is at the right amount of heat not to burn your skin if you accidentally touch it.

One suggestion: increasing the gap to accommodate the thicker areas of the frame around the throat/T area of the racket head. I may need to remove the part sticking out on the non heated side so that i can flare the middle mains.

Have you used Yonex starting clamp? Is it similar? =) Also I have a friend looking for T shape grommets in the US does anyone know where he can get? Maybe 2.1mm and 2.6mm

I haven't used Yonex starting clamp before so I can't make a comparison. The no- branded starting clamp did a good job for me personally.
