Mmmmm now I missed one. Yeah I know that bad calls are part of the game but I still blame it for my error in prediction.

Agree, it's phenomenal, and best of all, the way he played , reminiscent of Super Dan, against LCW was spectacular for a man his age. It felt as if I was watching Lin Dan v LCW in their heydays, badminton of the highest order of magnitude, exhilarating.

How? Shi Yuqi has been even more impressive than Tai Tzu Ying in this tournament.

I will rate Lin Dan and Yamaguchi about the same, their fates in the opening game were same, their script was same, the level of opponent was the same - just too truly great!!!

I have to say I have so much respect for the Japanese coach Park yoo-bong.
As soon as his players look to the coaches after winning an match, he shows his players to first shake hands with the opponents.
Ofc sometimes some players just instinctively run to their coaches but I like it when you first thank your opponent, and then celebrate. Shows class

Awesome performance from Shi Yuqi throughout the tournament. Amazing smashes and great all-round.
Also so much respect for Lin Dan who played great and showed his class.

He missed the beginning of game 3, some unforced errors, one netcourt and a few great points by SYQ. The youngster showed no nerves, but the lead was big enough. In this form even LD couldn't come back into touching distance...

I'm afraid he has no idea what it's like for a 34-yr-old man to play badminton at the highest level round after round. Just compare with LCW, Lee Hyun Il, even Hu Yun, Wei Nan, or Nguyen Tien Minh, or previously, Sho Sasaki - talk to them personally, if possible, to get a proper perspective. It's always easy to criticize, talk is cheap.

DEN WD were facing a garbage pair. DEN MD are facing a highly motivated world #1 pair.
